Supportman...question for you....

If this has already been asked or explained, forgive the redundancy....but what exactly is your purpose here? Please understand I'm not trying to attack you...but I just know what you are doing here. The things you write are really nice and very true and you have many good things to say, but I'm very cautious by nature.

From what I can gather, it seems that you work in law enforcement, have had experience with working with those involved in domestic abuse, have had someone close to you abused, and are married in a good marriage for 31 years...is that right?

I guess, for me, it would be helpful if you formally introduced yourself, explained your background a bit and what it is you hope to provide or gain from this.

PLEASE, understand, that I have really no "say" in this as I am not a board leader and the internet is a FREE place to post anything....but its just important for me as a person and a woman with many trust and security issues. (and an investigator, to boot)

Again, if this has already been addressed, please just refer me to the link and I will read.

thank you!

dharma

ps...thanks for your congratulatory wishes!

I have to agree with dharma - I don't get as much time on this board now as I would like, and here you are suddenly - she had gathered more about you than I was able to - so please - feel free to fill us in. You must understand our "untrusting" natures with all that we deal with in our lives.
