the pastor of your church who focuses on marriage and family therapy tells you it is time to walk away. When I got to my car it dawned on me I had just gotten the churches blessing to legally separate from my husband...now what is my

Mine is financial dependence. I was diagnosed with a whole line of problems in 2001 and ended up on SSD...824.00 a month for three teens and a mom to survive on just is not imaginable. And with the "no cost of living increases" for two years in a row...need I say more?

I am going to school, I graduated with a bachelors in Criminal justice and

Wow..that is quite a lot you have been through. Congratulations on the MA in counseling..That would be great when that takes off..about moving in to your parents rental house, that might be a good interim solution as well. Though I dont understand how your H has 600$ in the bank ..assuming he does have a job so where is his money going. About the cat urine odor, we have had the same issue and we were told to get the baseboard exposed in the floors and put a primer and then seal it back. It can be done. good luck..stay strong.

My dad hired a company to refinish the floors and all they did (in my opinion) was re seal the wood and not treat the damage...

I have used vinegar in the wash when an animal pees on the clothes...that is good for cutting the smell...we are talking old wood floors so I am not sure, I will have to experiment...also the pet stores have all kinds of products that claim the ability to remove odor so we shall work on that...for now,

Wow, really sorry to hear all you are going through. The court stuff, where I am, can be done just by downloading the forms or getting the requisite forms, filling them out and submitting. Granted there are few forms especially if support / custody is involved but then you can get free lawyer advice in the library..Aren't there similar resources. Usually shelters have legal help too. Also about insurance, he is required to keep you on insurance and that has nothing to do with how much you are asking for support. (though I guess you are trying to help him out..here..as well..) .

Glad you have family support. I think one thing keeping me where I am is no family support for me close by..and a tiny part of me is just not ready for being alone and not part of dd's life only 50% of the time. Anyway..enough of my saga.

Stay strong and well..Hugs !

You should be able to get Medicaid once you leave him. That way you won't have to give up your child support. I am sorry things are so rough! Keep your chin up you are doing the right thing....
