We spent the entire day yesterday going to Marks car to unload it, and then researching buying a used car, and negotiating a car rental.
The insurance has called Marks car totaled. They are offering 5,000 for it. They compared it to "other similar cars in the area that are currently for sale" NO they didn't! We checked out the cars that were supposedly for sale and comparable. They were sold last month or junked. The one that we were able to track down was sold by Fitzgerald auto in a special car program they have. Its sold AS IS, its not guaranteed to be running and you have to pay cash and be responsible for the car removal from the lot. WTH! :-$

No, you're fine!

My daughter is 5. She was a preemie, so she is little smaller than most kids her age. The 5 point harness seats are so hard for me to get undone. We didn have a really nice one, but it was so odd seeing her in this baby sit at her age. I found a nice booster for 99.00 dollars that seems to be pretty sturdy with a nice back attached to it. You make a good point about safety though, so I will look into what is out there.

Thanks Jenny!
