I think I mentioned my daughter Colleen is dating a young man. He is a strong Christian with many of the same morals and convinctions that we hold. He is a leader in the Young life programs. He's gone on some mission trips to the inner cities of New York, Chicago, and the like. Anyway, last weekend my daughter came to me and said that she wanted to talk with me about her relationship with him. I was like ,cool. Well what she asked me was profound. She said that she and Brian had been talking about being accountable to one another and to each of their parents. So she wanted my vision on their relationship. IE what it should look like to be honorable to God. I wasn't sure what to say, lol. They both had read "I kissed dating goodbye" By Joshua Harris. (our pastor of our former

I know honey. Some days are rough to get through aren't they?

This young man is 21 and to see his respect for my daughter and his respect toward both us and his own parents is refreshing. Colleen is happy too. I don't know if he is "the one" But he is a great first boyfriend. She's still young, she's 18, soon to be 19. Although her sister was that age when she got married, Colleen has no plans of getting married anytime soon. Shew! lol!

You've done something right dear. I want to know how you did it because that is how I'm hoping my boys will conduct themselves as they grow into men. Somedays I think we're doing good but most days I think we are way too strict. I'm just praying daily for the right words and actions to convey God's love always. I pray every night for my boys and their future wives to be brought up in a Godly manner.

Have you ever given any thought to what it will be like when it's just you and Mark? James wants to buy a Harley when the boys move out. Yep. He aka-like-a-man.lol
