My dh hasn't had a drink in years and drugs are so not him. Last night I woke up around 2 am. Chris plays in a pool league on Monday nights up in Ga. However, he is usually home around 1. Well, I thought it odd that he wasn't home. I tried his cell a couple of times, no answer. I called again at 2:45, no answer. Ok, what gives? Then Chris calls me right back. "Kristi, I have no idea where I am." I said, "What do you mean?" He was completely clueless as to where he was, how he got there, what he had done. Still, I was confused...What do you mean? Where are you? He told me that someone must have put something in his soda. He remembered having a soda around 11 and saying he would take someone home, but that is it. He didn't remember who he took or where he went. Some passerby got Chris some water and told me where he was. I called a friend who went to get him. At this point Chris was losing it. He kept saying he was gonna die. He was throwing up and tasted like beer. Our friend got him and took him to his house to shower and sleep. I picked him up this am around 4. He stinks of beer....however, no joke, the man doesn't drink. I'm really not amused. Is this some elaborate scheme? Did he screw up and make mistakes? Or worse, did someone really drug him? Our buddy said it was E. He said they do it all the time up there. I really just don't get this at all.

It does sound like ecstasy or what are typically called date rape drugs. Or someone could have simply spiked his drink with alcohol. When alcohol (or the above-mentioned drugs) interact with meds, weird things can happen. I'd suggest he go to a doctor or hospital for a blood or urine test. You've never mentioned whether his workplace does random drug tests, but this could be a matter of health safety.
Hugs to you. I know you two are already going through a lot. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Wow! How scarey! I'd definitely get Chris checked by a physician. This could defintely cause work trouble. Was there anyone new around while theyt were playing? Anyone connected with his work? Just curious. I'll be praying he feels better.

Ohmy....I am so sorry to hear that this has happend. I am so sorry to hear that you're going through this. I don't know what to tell you right now. I have a ZERO tolerance policy at my house. My Dh used to smoke weed. I finally told him that if he brought it to my house again. He and his weed would be gone. Needless to say, he stopped. I hope that he hasn't had a relapse. I hope that all is well. Are you guys going through alot right now? I don't think that I'd allow him to go out with those people again! I did notice that you said something about Ga. I live in Ga, too.

Well, luckily, he shouldn't have any issues with work. He doesn't run with a shady crowd. He plays pool on a league and is in charge of running it. Since, he doesn't drink or do drugs, it hasn't posed an issue. I talked with some friends in the town. Evidently, it has been running wild over there. He is going to have to be much more aware of things. In the meantime, he will be going to the dr. I haven't informed him of that yet. I guess we shall see.

Yes, we did live in Ga. We just moved to Fl. Originally we were in Atlanta, then we were moved to the coast. I have to say, I do love the beach.
