Ok ladies, with the House just voting down the bailout bill, what are your thoughts on our nation's stability? Where do you see this country heading? This is not a loaded question. No hostile remarks please. Just a question from one sister in Christ to another.

I think most everyone would agree with you Cindy. Being on the failing end of the economy ( the housing end ), I have had some mixed emotions. I've stopped short of forming an opinion yet but I've been on my knees about the reality of where we stand.

well, i've kinda done the opposite.. smart or not... i started a 401K with the new company.. Something tells me that if i invest now .. down the road i'll get more for my buck. But i don't know finances too well.


My opinion is that i agreed with the House and defeating the bill. It just doesn't seem fair to bail out the people who created the mess in the first place. Whatever happens God is in Control.


I believe they (all politicals involved) will come up with a better and more well rounded plan. One that benefits the american people not just the big spenders and bankers on the stock market. Someone told me she lost 12K (probably more by now) and my first thought was ... wow, i've never had 12K to lose.... It's perspective, i guess.


I should be thankful in all things... that i know is true!

I believe I agree with you Tyann. I was shocked but happy when the bailout was struck down. I believe accountability for those large corporations is key to the success of our market becoming strong again. You are smart buying stock when it is low. You do get more for your buck when things go up, you profit! I've considered joining but with the company I work for holding off on raises across the board for so long, I can not afford to jump in yet. DH is out of work and I need every last dime for us to just survive right now. Inflation is not my friend.

well i think with the crime rate involving kids, the country allowing pornography, gay and lesbian afairs on tv and now the finance crisis. means that christs return is soon. we need to be ready. the us was formed with God but has moved so far away. their has been talk of a chip inplant to replace ID's all of whet is happening is in the bible. i don't see it getting much worse without the tribulation which is probably very near. our children are not educated and just pass through no matter what they do. parents are to afraid to disapline their kids and kids are wild and out of control. then there is drug abuse on top of everything. we are worse than sottum and gamora and we all know what God did to them. i think this is the time to spend as much time with your children and God because nothing else on this earth is worth anything when christ returns.

WELCOME ANUNNAKI! It's so nice to have you here with us. I think you're right. I do see that many of the prophesies have been fulfilled and many more are being fulfuilled now. It's strange to me how a country created for a group of people seeking religious freedom could be go so astray. I continue to raise my children in the way of Christ and pray for this country.
