I just wanted to share with ya'll where I stand with my weight loss program. Over the past year, I've lost a total of 24 inches, 20 pounds and dropped from a 16 to 14. I had the ladies at Curves update my weight and measurements yesterday to give me a fresh start for this year and was really pleased to see I hadn't done any damage over the holidays.lol So my goal for this year is to drop another 20 pounds and to be in Curves at least 3 times a week. I'll keep ya'll updated all along. Be in prayer for me to "stay the course".lol

Love,
Robin

Thanks Judy! Maintaining over the holdiays was real easy. I followed the Norovirus stomach virus with a bad case of infleunza. Helps with the appetite and over eating.lol I don't advise others to follow my plan though.

wow that is great!!! I think I may have found what you lost though:(

I have been terrible at maintaining my weight loss much less losing any. The curves by me changed their hours two months after joined, so we have been paying it faithfully, but unable to attend. It really stinks! Makes me sad. I only have one more month and I'm free to leave! I wish I could have stayed and kept on going. I liked it, but I was very disapointed that they would make any ammends for changing their hours. The opened from 8 to 12 then 3 to 6..........Not good for us at all.

You go girl!!! I'm very proud of you....................but could you send those pounds and inches further south instead of north?;)

Congratulations!! I lost 30 lbs. last year at Weight Watchers.I know God gave me the will power to cut back and change some eating habits.I didn't go hungry, I believe the secret is eating the right foods in smaller quantites, often.I think my motabulism kicked in by eating often a little something.( Yogurt, apple, grapes, popcorn)if I wanted something chocolate or sweet,Smart Ones desserts are great! Also their meals are good! Instead of being tempted for a hamgurger, when I was in a hurry, I would pop one them in the microwave.I went from a size 16 to now a 10!I was able to get off of some medication I was on and the doctor cut my blood pressure medicene.Keep up the good work, God loves you!Gloria2007

Good morning Gloria,

Thank you for the encouraging words. I totally agree on the eat right and eat often. My metabolism had slowed to a crawl for so many years. I've gotten back into my exercise routine and feeling great. Thanks!

My Curves is open Mon-Fri 7a-1p and 2p-7p and Sat from 7a-Noon. Since I live 35 minutes away, the Saturday hours do not bug me a bit. They used to close at noon during the week till they figured out that they were missing out a whole group of lunchtime ladies. I'm so glad the accomodate my hours. I'm sorry yours changed. You just need to move closer to me. I'll tell ya what, I know where this great house is that will be going on the market come spring that is, amazingly, right next door to the one I'm about to move in! It was built by this awesome contractor who happens to be pretty hot looking. Of course he's married to this really hot really pale blond chic and has 2 cute boys. They might be alright neighbors. I'm not sure. I haven't lived anywhere long enough to find out yet.lol

Maybe he could swop from mortgages to business management like being a GM for a large corporation. That would pay well and the pay would not be dependant upon monthly quotas. With his travel experience, he would probably make a good salesman for corporations. The industry I'm in could use some salesmen will morals and a good work ethic. There is a local hospital looking for a new CEO. See? I'm working the health insurance angle. I'm sure we could wrap his resumae around that job somehow. There are quite a few large insurance companies in the surrounding areas that are always advertising for salesmen among other management positions. Girl, we gotta get him that powerball ticket from Missouri!lol Okay, I don't do lottery, that was a funny. You did hear this morning that someone from MO bought a winning ticket didn't ya? Anywho. We'll meet one day. Whether here or heaven. I'm just glad to call you friend.
