Talked with Karen

I talked to Karen today. She is sounding well. Life hasn't changed much for them, but she is handling it better. Her ministry role is going very well. Far as I can tell, Mark is enjoying the children's ministry also. He is very gifted in that arena.

She is also playing surrogate mom to her neice's child. This is the neice who had the baby last year that we all wished she had allowed be adopted. Well, she got herself pregnant again immediately. She had the baby early a couple of weeks ago. She is in NICU. Now, Amanda has dumped little Lucy on Karen so she can go sit bedside the baby who she can do nothing for. It is a frustrating senario. Those innocent little ones deserve a good life. Amanda has so far proven she is incapable of it. I hope she figures it out somehow.

Then there is her sister, Karla. She had a mass removed and biopsied from her breast. No results yet. However, she is doing a round of chemo tomorrow.

Continue to pray for them all. Thanks a bunch.

Kristi,

Thanks for updating us on Karen. I tried calling her before Christmas but never got her. I know she's incredibly busy.

WOW! I had no idea that Amanda was prego again. I must have missed that somewhere along the way. It's amazing how people prioritize their lives. Was the baby way preemie or are there other health issues here. I'll definitely be in pray for this situation.

I pray God moves in a mighty way for Karen & Mark. They sure have endured alot over the last few years. Please let her know that I love her and that I'm praying for her daily. I miss her terribly. Thank you again for updateing us Kristi!

Your sister in Christ,
Robin
