Just wondering - with md fast approaching - what are you guys if any planning for your mother's , mil's?

Since the phone call the Friday before Easter - MIL/FIL have not contacted DH once.

I find it hilarious when people give you the silent treatment as a form of punishment when it's quiet the opposite for the person on the receiving end. Enjoy it while you have it.

I don't think you should make your DH do anything. If he wants to do something (or not), let him decide, let him be the one to buy the card, etc.

She'll justify her behavior one way or the other so don't worry about it. And even though the logic of "My son didn't do anything, it must be my DIL's fault" is just stupid as all get out, you can't control how she takes things. Excuses excuses. She'll have one, one way or another.

I'd leave it up to your DH whether he sends a card or hands one to her or does nothing.

Thanks for your responses and I'm in total agreement.

Yesterday while driving to the grocery store, I saw my SIL/BIL and I'm pretty certain the Inlaws - at a community church on the main road where I drive past.
