So I am in Texas I totally feel I am in jail. My son had plans for me and my daughter in law has make it so hard for me to be here. I finally told my son I need to go home big time. I am willing to take my chances in my own house.

My DIL has not chanced her spots they are just a little more hidden. But it is a funny thing at first I was so scared and let my son bully me Time has made

I am so very sorry for your loss. i will keep you in my prayers.

I mainly lurk here.

I always suggest that no one makes such huge decisions immediately after a death. It's very hard to think clearly & you have to find a new "normal" for your life. If possible, it's best to leave things as they are as much as you can while you adjust. After each of my grandparents passed, we waited at least 6 months before we as a family made any decisions- even about giving away clothing. it was packed away, but we didn't get rid of anything. Give yourself time to grieve. If you can go home I'd do it. And I'd also stay the hell away from your DIL. She has some serious issues, doesn't care about your health & welfare, & definitely will not be looking out for your best interests. It sounds like while your DS wants to try and do right by you, he just isn't doing so great in the follow through.

Again, I'm so very sorry & you are in my prayers.
