Honestly, why would you care what your MIL did with photos of her son...her son who isn't your husband?

<< Sure she'd cut you out of pics...but if you were no longer with your husband, how would it ever affect you if she did that in her personal family album? >>

It couldn't help but have an effect on Imotherothers' kids, who would surely see the pictures.

Doesn't always happen, but I'm with Sadie on this one. :)

So it sounds like ya'll think she shouldn't be here posting this thread.

I disagree.

I think cutting people out of pictures is plenty weird, a little creepy, and worthy of discussion on an Inlaw board..

Imotherothers stated it's not her business, so I'm not sure why everybody feels the need to tack it on again.

Sadie, her "speculation" sounds more rhetorical and joking to me.

Cat, I totally agree that it's weird. But, I also think it's something that I would try not to let myself get worked up over. I think anyone posting on these boards clearly has in-law iasues, but the degree to which all of us let those issues impact our lives is partly dependent upon us. With this situation, imother is already at a state where she doesn't care for her mil, but, she's also accepted that there's no getting rid of her, so, with this situation, where it doesn't personally affect imother, I would just let it go. Her mil is sure to bring plenty of drama/issues, so I would save my energy for those.

On a related note, personally, I have in-laws who all wish DH had married his ex. I would much rather have a MIL who ha cropped out the ex than one who constantly brought her up, so it's all relative. ;)

I see what you're saying. Guess I just didn't see OP as getting worked up over it. Maybe she is, but I didn't see it.

Your IL's sound sweet. ;)

I think the OP has every right to post here.
