How often do you eat them?
Is the brand you eat on this list?
How did it rate?

Most "Health" bars are just candy bars disguised as "healthy" when they are not!! They're loaded with sugar!!

I've had the Larabar shown and I think it's okay best I can tell without having the actual bar here in front of me where I can read the ingredients. I believe, though, that there is no added sugar in them, only natural fruits.

Some of the Atkins bars are okay, low in added sugar and low in sat fats. They used to taste awful, but I haven't had any in years, so don't know if they've improved them.

Those are the only ones I've found here locally that are okay. The others shown in the link I'm not familar with.

They are right in that any food item should not have more than 4 grams of added sugar and no more than 4 grams of saturated fats in them per serving size.

Most of them are junk and you can find some regular candy bars with less sugar in them!!

That's a lot of saturated fat for one tiny "health bar". YIKES

It depends on what else you're eating for the rest of the day. If 4 grams or less of sat fats is all you're eating in a day, you're okay, unless you have high cholesterol that is, then you should have zero sat fats. Some sources say that 5 grams or less is okay, but Dr. Oz says 4 grams or less and I agree with him on most things.
