Do you wear pants with elastic waistbands?

(OK Hilary, take time to wash off your monitor).

Don't mind a little stretch in my jeans, but have you ever seen those pajama jeans?

I don't really like stretch in the jeans, makes me feel like a sausage. so many have it though, hard to avoid.

Yes, I know all about Hil and her bad habit. *wink* lol

Don't think I have any elastic waisted pants, but do have a few pair of draw string pants.

Yea, I was pretty confident you would agree with me on that one..lol!!

I like drawstring pants in the summer.
Drawstring are my favorite, but hard to find. I wish clothing manufacturers would catch on!

LOL!! Yes, I do! My reasons are different from other's though. Due to scoliosis, I have pain on the right side of my waist. It's caused by there being no space between my rib cage and hip bone. The ribs push on the hip and it's painful. After back surgeries, it is a bit better, but still a problem area. Pants with waists can add to the pain. I try to get pants with elastic or drawstring waists. When I'm wearing ones that do not have any elastic, they have to be roomy enough to not be too awfully painful. I do not tuck any shirts into my pants as my body is too short waisted for that, so you can't tell what kind of waistband my pants have. Even if my body was longer shaped to where I could tuck shirts into my pants, I would not because I think that shirts tucked into pants with elastic waistbands looks kind of goofy!! Just my humble opinion..lol!!
