I like kiwi too! Kumquats only have 13 calories each, so it's a nice snack.

Funny thing is .. I have a kumquat tree growing in my backyard and every year it is covered with fruit. The cockatoos love them!

I like cinnamon and cloves too. I've never had persimmons--haven't seen any of those in our stores.

Have never tried kumquats. Don't think I'd like the sweet/sour taste together, plus I can't do citrus fruits..................bothers my gastritis.

Hope you don't get those fever blisters, Michelle.

Oh, that does sound good!! I've never eaten a persimmon, but will try one next time I see one in the grocery store.

I've never had a kumquat either, but it doesn't sound like something I would like as the sweet skin would have to mask the sour insides.

The taste of the kumquats is growing on me--I'm really enjoying them, especially since I can just pick up a handful and eat them on the go! Nope, no blisters, thankfully.

I can't find persimmons. My store had just about every other kind of odd fruit, but no persimmons.
