what is your favorite Low Cal go to dinner?

I have two that we try once every week.

1.  grilled boneless chicken breast , cut up in bite sized pieces and mixed into a mixed salad (no cheese) but some grape halves or raisings with a low cal EVOO/balsamic dressing

2.  Baked sea bass with side of  mixed salad and country bread.

Both with sprudel water, well that is all we drink anyway.

Suzan..I like salads a lot, but hardly ever make them at home. I love them in restaurants though.

I'm trying to remember what I used to cook being that I've been eating diet foods for a year now. Here's two....

Boneless Tilapia fish with one of the following topings....

Lawrey's lemon herbed spice (that they don't sell anymore. They have one of a similar title, but it's nothing at all like the original. I found two huge commercial use bottles online though)

Blackened Cajun Spices

Homemade Tarter Sauce

Homemade Parmesan Sauce

Only one of those toppings. With that I'll fix a brown rice pilaf or sweet potato plus a vegetable.

Another favorite dish is....

Chicken Tenderloins baked in a baking dish with baby carrots and lots and lots of sliced onions. I'll serve my brown rice pilaf with that also. I also make this dish with pork chops occasionally too.

These are some of the dishes that I fixed for my dh while I was on my diet. I always make enough for left overs too.

How long do you bake those chicken tenderloins?  Do you put anything on them , do the carrots cook in the same amount of time....

Might try it....
