We've been talking about the Omron HJ-203 pedometer. Donna got her's online through a Groupon deal. I tried to get the Groupon deal, but they ran out. Wal-mart had the same pedometer, but when I looked only the yellow color was on sale for $13.00. Had it shipped to the store so no shipping costs. Just checked Amazon and they have the same pedometer in black for $11.75.

Teri, if you can , try to buy one that is in a bright flourescent color and one that beeps when you are looking for it. (()) sorry you've misplaced the new one.
I don't have one yet so I'm no here here.

That one helped. Thanks Suzan. Donna and Gail also filled me in on the one that was talked about in a more recent thread.

Well, my new Omron HJ-203 arrived two days ago and I still don't have it set up yet. I'm allergic to instruction manuals no matter how easy they are..lol!! This pedo is smaller than my other Omron. I got the white with pink one and it's pretty. No blinking, though, so you'd have to be careful not to lose it!!

In the little bit of instructions that I did read, it seems that none of them work well if put into a horizontal position. I know I have done that while stuffing it into my stiff jeans pocket!! I thought there was something wrong with the pedo, but it must be the placement! I'll be more careful from now on!

You know, I'm thinking, as small as this one is, it would be easy to loop it and attach it by looping instead of using the clip, to a belt loop. Hope that made sense. It still has to be in a pocket or tucked under a waistband, though, for it to work properly as it can't be left hanging and swinging and not placed in a horizontal position while tucking either. The plastic clip isn't strong enough for thick fabrics like jeans or sports pants with gathered elastic waistbands.
