Let's see if this "edit" works this time... LOL

Right now Fasching (Mardi Gras)  is being celebrated in  Germany. My worst food enemy therefore is Fasching's Krapfen :  alias decadent fresh jelly donuts!

I like most of them, and there are many kinds , lucky for me I don't care for cream filled donuts.

What food is your worst enemy right now?

Ugh why can't I do a cut or copy and paste?  Sometimes quick reply won't work, so I try to do a cut/copy paste to regular "reply" and it won't give me that option!

Okay, enough grumbling.  My worst enemy food wise is, has been and probably always will be sugar/sweets.

I love the fluffy white filled cream donuts, but its been quite a while since I've had one. Like the jelly ones too!

lol Yes like the Cadbury eggs. Good thing they are a seasonal treat! Hadn't really thought about worst food enemy changing with the season. But am thinking that I am probably more tempted during the fall/winter to eat sweet stuff plus you throw in the holidays on top and yikes! Used to eat quite a bit of pasta years ago, but have managed to stay away from it for the most part and just have it once in a great while.  Pasta is that comfort food and that childhood memory food.  Now if I could just manage to curb my sweet tooth. lol

How about you Suzan?

Oh, yum, I love cream filled donuts!! My favorite is a Barvarian Creme or Bismark..same thing..with chocolate glaze. That's not an "enemy" food, though, as I very rarely buy them.

Peanut butter has been an enemy in recent weeks. PB isn't bad, but I was eating too much. I eat it by the rounded spoonful. I seem to have that under control now though.

Chips was an enemy, but I don't buy them anymore.

I guess I really don't have a food enemy at the moment. Now that I'll be starting into weightloss maintenance beginning tomorrow, I'll have to see what my enemies will be!

Gail, I also have a terrible sweet tooth,,, i'm in the process of trying to rid my kitchen of sweets (candy, cookies etc).   Low fat fruit yoghurt helps when I have a craving.  I can get pretty jittery when I don#t have my sweets.  I have heard though that if one starts out the day with a breakfast that doesn't include sweets (jam, jelly etc) then the cravings during the day won't be as bad.    ;O)

HI D. Chips are something that I never EVER buy . I love them, they are addicting so I stay away from them. I started that habit when my ds was a toddler as I did not want him to eat them , or soda pop, or kool-aid etc. So never bought those items and still won't. Now if only I could muster up the strength to not buy sweets.

Fabulous, Donna, you have things well under control! I like PB with an apple or with banana or even with raisins.

There are no sweets in my house, Suzan except for sugar which I put in my tea. I try not to have sweets around, but do have them once in a while. Interesting on the not starting the day out with sugar. I would be in trouble with that idea though cause I always have sugar in my tea. Some days I can manage to put less in my tea than on other days. lol

Oh I love chips. Not to terribly into sweets.

What is weird lately I find that food that is grain related, breads, chips, pasta, will make me have a hot flash.

Not a fan of hot flashes :(
