and hence you are nice and thin. You'd think that since we've been on this board together for at least 5 yrs or more Bunny, that some of your skinny genes would rub off on me.

There are lots of healthy snacks. One has to decide if they just want something low calorie, like those 100 calorie snack packs, so they can lose weight, or if they want something both low calorie and healthy too! That would not be the 100 calorie snack packs. We need to know what to look for and what to look out for and must never forget that food manufactures lie to us all the time!!

That is so true, Donna--food companies lie to us every day! I've never bought any of those 100 calorie snack packs--I prefer real fruit, nuts, etc. But also important is to remember whatever you eat between meals adds calories--so smaller, healthy choices are also wise at mealtime too!

I rarely eat dessert either, Bunny. I didn't used to eat between meals either, but now I have to (fibromyalgia and reactive hypoglycemia)--so I eat smaller meals and healthy snacks. We eat dinner around 7 p.m.--so I don't usually have to eat anything between then and breakfast, but I have a late afternoon snack to get through until dinner--sometimes just a glass of fat-free milk is enough!
