Had a good weigh-in at TOPS tonight. I lost another 2.6 pounds!! Yay me!!
I'm staying right on track..walking..trying to drink more water..other exercise..not giving in to any food temptations..cutting down on portions..watching the scale go down! :)
Oh Hilary, you are right, we're all walking time bombs,, if one thing doesn't get us the next thing will. As you know you will need to be strong and positive for your friend... you know that from your dmom, ddad, and dh. she'll beat this long journey as it will be,, she will...... ((for her))
$300 to fix the treadmill...... couldn't you just walk around the neighborhood 10 x's every morning? (LOL, trying a bit of humor) . Glad it's fixed but yes you need to get back to your gym and don't overdo,, just go ... you'll feel better.
It's amazing how much your weight fluctuates,, WTG on the weight loss again Donna,,,, do you think you'll get the Biggest loser basket this month? (thinking it was called that)
9 to 10 lbs in a week,,,, ohhhhhh I wish. Maybe they should split you all in groups,, those who need to lose 30- 50 lbs.... then those who need to lose a bit of weight, 5-10 lbs, (which is harder than losing 30 lbs IMHO). That would be nice.
Yes portions seem to just increase and one doesn't even realize it until there are 3 or 4 etc lbs overweight your normal weight. I'm also trying to lose a couple lbs,, I would love to lose 6 lbs. Not much but hard to shake off. I will do it for the love of my knees though.

My friend is a VERY strong woman but she told me nothing really prepares you for it being YOU if you kwim.
