Suzan's Tuesday:
had a cookie and 3 tiny chocolates (walnut and then 2 mocha latte chocolates) Yummy, a gal has to celebrate the season once in a while. Had a smaller dinner with some delicious mellon for dessert.

Exercise: my knees are hurting after the 7hr spent standing deco-iing my xmas tree, but walked around the mall (stocking stuffers and a present for my cleaning lady) for about 1.5 hrs and that was more than enough, so I came home. Another couple days and they will be back to OK again.

A little seasonal treat is definitely a must, Suzan, just wouldn't be the holidays with out at least a little indulgence.

Sounds like you got plenty of exercise!

Well, we surely don't want you whining so keep the wine. ; >) lol

Seriously, hope the stress is soon gone and you don't pay too much for your current attitude, Hilary.

Shhh, haven't done fitday for a couple of days, but think I'm doing pretty good.

As I was saying in another post somewhere on the board, let's worry about the weight gain after the holidays. Then we will all fight the battle of the bulge.

Well, I'm the odd ball here for I still have to watch what I eat and drink my water and still have to do my walking through the holidays. So far I've lost 1½ lbs I think. I ate a wee bit too much at the Christmas Brunch this morning, though, so I'm hoping the scale is still being kind to me in the morning.

That's what we mean, you'll eat and enjoy your meals, and worry about it later on mostly. I still have to watch my portions and how many sweets I am eating during the holidays but will eat some traditional cookies and German sweets and then that's it. I'm not snacking as much at night anymore, helps me sleep better and keeps the odd lb off, not munching during the day between meals, etc. Just watching it where I can.. It won't be much of a problem for you to lose the 1.5 lbs Donna, come Jan 1st. have fun & enjoy!
