I don't see why you have those pains,, thinking you might need orthonics in your shoes.... that can cause that pain. Do you have walking sneakers,,, I mean even a treadmill requires good support..... my ds who is pretty fit, started running on the treadmill and he started getting pains in his legs.. so he changed his sneakers,, if you go to a good sneaker store they should be able to assist you in buying the proper sneak for walking ..... really can help. Just a suggestion....

Great that you are still doing it thought. Any movement helps.... I can do my stationery bike for 5 minutes,,, which I do,, longer and I'm in pain,,, so I just do it more often.... that works for me.

Water,, what about just having a glass of water with your meals.... that's 3 glasses and you won't forget it... make Tom drink it too..... if we have to suffer thru it then they should too..... LOL

Yes, I have very good walking shoes. They have an insole that molds to my individual foot and they don't slip at all. I love this brand (Propet). I'm on my 3rd pair of white ones and also have a pair of blue ones and a pair of brown ones.

Rant all you want Ann. It ticked me off when I went to the doctor a few weeks ago to ask about the pain I feel when I get up in the evening most evenings only to be told I was getting old! Don't worry about weighing yourself too often .. makes for a nice surprise then when you do. Bet you have lost a few pounds with all you are doing .. well done!

Thanks. I guess what bothers me most is that nothing ever gets better, or can be fixed, apparently, and usually no reason for my problems can be found, so I guess I just have to live with it. At the moment I'm living with

Ann I was wondering if your dr is an orthopedic? Is there anyway you could just go directly to an orthopedic and get the aches and pains and hip and back adn head and all that checked out... I know you don't like to go,, none of us do, but they handle things totallly different than GP's do..... I learned the hard way.... Maybe a MRI of the spine would pinpoint some problem spots,,, just a thought as I hate to see you in pain for no reason...

I'll just say for this week, I didn't do much exercise... knees of course. Nope it's not becoming an excuse.. next week PT starts, and the accupuncture, so I'll be busy.
Water intake very good, have a new mind set on the eating,,, so will try to do better!
