Please share the things you did to work towards a *healthier* and therefore *happier* you!

Exercise: Any exercise whether it was walking, housework, going to the gym, gardening! All activity counts.

Healthy diet choices: You made, or didn't make!

Water: Did you drink enough?

Diet Plan if applicable: For those going to TOPS, Weight Watchers or similar we would really like to know how you are going.

Let's do something for ourselves this week:

I am going rid my kitchen of sweets (again).  I will also concentrate on the stationary bike and heating pad.

How about you,, choose an area and just do it .  Of course, let us know what it is and your progress during the week.

hmm my quick reply doesn' t seem to be working...

Monday:

drank enough water.

did floor exercises for the back and to limber up, that felt nice and I think I will attempt to do them every day.  It really felt good.

Stationary bike: 12 minutes

no ice cream

Guess that's about it.

Glad I found this!! Seems there are about three others that I missed as they were all buried WAY down the board!! I floated them to the top. Maybe you already floated them, too, but I've found that it doesn't always work or stick for me unless I float it too. Weird IV!!!

Anyway...I've been struggling with losing the few pounds that I regained over the Christmas weeks. I have this past week, weighing in tomorrow night and one more week to reach goal again by next Tuesday night next week. It's not looking good enough at this point, only lost a pound or two. Will see what next week brings!! Just so darned tired of not eating!! Sick of dieting!!

So, that's what I'm working on, eating a lot less to get to goal again. I'll find out tomorrow night how many more lbs I'll have to lose. My weakness has been eating too much peanut butter. I only eat it off the spoon and I'm cutting way down on that.

Exercise is the same ½ hour of stretches and strengthening that I do every morning. DH and I are going to begin walking again as it's supposed to get a bit warmer starting tomorrow. If it's not feeling warm enough, we'll have to hit the treadmill again..ughhh!!

As for foods, I only have a sealed bag of candy that will remain sealed until I reach my goal again. I just got it as a gift from my sis-in-law last Friday as part of my Cmas gifts. Otherwise, it would not be in my house either! That's all the sweets that are in my house. The rest is only my healthy foods.

Suzan...Good you're doing your exercises! Yes, do keep them up every day! Sure makes a difference I find! My legs are sore today from all the walking yesterday. Whoa..didn't know they were not in better shape!! Must get to walking more again!!

Good on the no ice cream. I can't remember the last time I ate ice cream! Some day I'll get to eat it again occasionally..sigh.

I have been slacking ::blush::
Did walk tons while in Orlando though
Today/Monday went walking in the cold (20 degrees)
Eating better today & lots of water
Something for me .. getting back on track & losing what I gained while gone :)

Hugs...You did well in FL and it won't take you long at all to lose the little you gained. You're good at it! Wow on walking in 20º weather!! That's a bit too cold for me I think!! Did your friend walk with you?

My thigh muscles are sore today from all the walking yesterday. That tells me where to work extra on now! I just got my ankle weights out and will be working on those while we watch movies from now on. I used to do that all the time and then somehow got away from it.

Oh yes with walking with my friend .. it wasn't *too* bad out there, LOL
Have felt *full* today but still ate ::blush::
Yep sounds like you did get a workout with all that walking if they are sore today.
Using your weights like that is a great idea!@  Good luck :)
