Hugs...The 6 week challenge is to pick a challenge that you would benefit from, mine is to journal my foods including calories. I stopped doing the counting calories and I know I have to begin that again. So, today is the start and it's going well. Others chose whatever challenge would work best for them. The choices are food chart, water, pack lunch, exercise, carb limit, fruits & veggies, calorie limit, no eating out, no food after ?? pm or you can pick one not on the list. I almost chose no peanut butter. You have to choose one that you're not doing already or not doing well enough. Then for week 3, we add another challenge and I might do peanut butter at that time if it's still a problem for me. In week 5, we add a third challenge. We get little prizes each week, too, and the best final winner gets a better prize.

Today I am HUNGRY!!!! LOL It's a good hungry though!!

Still tracking mine and dh's food intake. However, Wednesday turned out to just be "on of those days." I did not exactly stick with the food I posted for the day, but still did pretty good till I stopped at Wal-mart last night. Moodiness got the better of me and I bought a Cadbury Egg. Poor dh, had I not been so tired last night and fixed his evening snack, he would of done well for Wednesday. Anyways, back on top of things hopefully today! Did well with water (tea) yesterday and thought no formal exercise, I kept busy moving most of the day doing things around the house..

Hi Girls!!

Suzan...Good the candy is gone! Now don't go out and buy more! lol! You have the desire to do better and I know you will. You're doing great! I would never in a million years think of you as "lazy"..lol!

Gail...Cadbury Egg..Yikes!! Lucky you!! lol! All right, those things can happen now and then. Today's another day and you're on your way!

To answer your question...When I'm losing weight, I eat as close to fat free and carb free as is humanly possible. So, I don't add those up, just count calories to adjust amounts that I eat. I only eat protein (chicken tenders, shrimp, tilapia, boiled egg whites and if I hit a plateau, I'll eat a wee bit of sirloin steak with as much fat trimmed off as possible), apples & clementines, blueberries & blackberries in season and broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, onions & garlic and occasionally canned no salt green beans, but rarely. That's it, no dairy either! When I'm in maintence, hopefully next week, I'll be adding other low fat and low carb foods to my menus and some gluten free grains. I will keep a closer eye on the other counts besides calories then too.

Hugs...I'm sure you will do well, you're good at this!! You inspire me!!

Me...I'm having another good day. I've lost 2 lbs, 4 more to go by next Tuesday. Actually, I'll be shooting for 5 more as I never know how that scale at TOPS will settle!

Hi Gail,

A cadbury egg,,, since that is in the singular "a cadbury egg"  the damage is not so bad.  I never can stop at just one....  my post would have been   "cadbury eggs"......   sigh,,, ohh but they are delicious. I like the cream walnut ones.

Back to the high road,,,,, both of us.     TTYS.
