My new pedo came today. It's about 1/3 the size of my other Omron, cute little thing!! I haven't set it up yet, but it looks simple enough.

Thanks.

Donna, I'm curious, in myfitnesspal can you add new foods? What I mean is like with fitday, I can put something together like my home made chicken soup, figure out calories, etc. then add it to my foods list so that's its there for me to choose if I eat my chicken soup.

Well, I'm finally back here in the Healthy Me thread. Here's an update: WW meetings ended in mid-December at the semester break. They will start up again soon and I plan to sign back on. I have been bad about tracking my food, but I'm proud to say I lost a pound during the holidays and another pound since then. I think I owe that to never sitting down for about 4 weeks straight for more than 5 minutes at a time! The exercise programs at school started up again this week with the start of the semester. This week I went to yoga on Tues/Thurs and cardio/core on Wed. I am taking part in a study and I get some personal training and coaching sessions. This week the personal training started so I leave work a bit early on Tues/Thurs for an hour of training with a group of 5.

Oh - you won't believe - remember I lost my pedometer awhile back? Well, I bought another one and lost it while DH was in the hospital. I haven't bought a new one yet. I need to figure out what pedomenter you are all talking about that is a "pocket" pedometer.
That's it for now. I'll be trying to be better about posting here and tracking my food. Wanna get back on the weight loss track soon.

Welcome back Teri!! Losing a pound over Christmas is fantastic and then losing another one!! Wow on that exercise too!!

This is the Omron pedometer that I have. Hilary's is like this, too, but I think her's can be hooked up to the computer, too, to track stuff......

And this is the one I recently ordered from Groupon for only $10!!.....

http://www.groupon.com/amarillo/ch/goods/deals/gg-omron-hj203pk-pedometer

If that page doesn't show up properly, here's another one where you can see it. This pedo is going to be even better than the other one that I already have........

http://www.amazon.com/Omron-HJ-203-Pedometer-Activity-Tracker/dp/B003IHSRGQ

These pedos have staps so you can clip them on your clothes. The clip is plastic, though, and not strong enough. If I find a better clip, I'll get it for mine.

Here's a good website for tracking food, water and exercise.....

Nice looking treadmill you'll be getting Donna. How long before it arrives at the store?

It arrives next Friday. I'll get my DD1 to help us pick it up in her van as it comes in a very big box and weighs 123 lbs, so I don't want to even attempt to put it into my car. Then maybe the three of us can lug it into the house together. I can't wait for it to get here and set up!! I'm spoiled now that we had one. I don't want to get in the car anymore and drive to do our laps around Target. Husband is happy, too, as he said our walking inside Target is too expensive..LOL!!

123 lbs?!
