Cute reading about all the grandloves!! Makes me think of when mine were that little. Oh, how I loved those days with them! I had more energy then too!! Happy for you grandmoms with the cutting of teeth, the drooling, the babbling, the cuddles, crawling, walking, and all the adorable things they do. These days go by way too fast!! Every stage of development brings it's own new joy though. We are blessed!!
One of the things that my grands and I loved was our craft projects. As soon as they were old enough to hold something in their hand and do a little something with it, we had projects. They knew every time they came to my house, there would be a new craft project waiting for them. I researched and bookmarked websites with ideas, bought supplies in advance and was never without an idea. Such fun!! I think my oldest granddaughter was about two years old when I guided her with her first sewing project. I had a piece of fabric and threaded needle. I just held the cloth for her and let her poke the needle into it wherever she wanted it to go. Then I pressed it and framed it and gave it to my DD as a gift. It still sits on a shelf in their home and is a forever treasure. I know you all will enjoy your memory making days forever too!
Decided to cut all soft drinks out of my diet. Being in consulting, that's pretty hard to do. But I'm going to work hard at it, it's been making me too bloated over the past few weeks (been drinking two cans of soda a day!). I've stopped for two days, and I already feel healthier! :smileyvery-happy:

Hi Coolfungirl (cute user), that is a very wise decision to make and not only for bloating!!
Suzan, that sounds dreadful to be so cold everywhere you go!! It sounds like there's no point in going anywhere as you know you'll be miserably cold and may get sick too!! Awful!!
Stay home and keep warm until you can return to Germany!! I hope you'll be feeling well enough to fly home Monday!!
My treadmill is sick and it makes me sad. :(
Husband has been researching if it can be fixed. He'll begin working on it tomorrow. We're hoping it's just a belt adjustment, but I think it's the speed control motor. The thing is that it's old and we don't think we can find another control motor. It's too dangerous to use now as the speed suddenly speeds up, like WAY up!!!
I was really loving walking on it too. It's so easy to hop on and go rather than having to drive somewhere to walk. If we can't fix it, we'll be looking for another one. ::sigh::
Hi , nice to see you in our healthy me folder.
Last night it went down to -20°C
