Please share the things you did to work towards a *healthier* and therefore *happier* you!

Exercise: Any exercise whether it was walking, housework, going to the gym, gardening! All activity counts.

I think I had a good Sunday. If how I feel is any indication, I got in lots of exercise! I'm not sure how far it was we walked, but I bet it was 3 or 4 miles. We didn't walk any of it fast, but even not walking fast, I think it was good exercise.

I gave and got lots of smiles today, and a few hugs, too, from Riley.

My diet plan was not real set, but I think I did well, not having much breakfast, eating just a sandwich (okay, a large sandwich) and some fruit for lunch, another sandwich for dinner and a couple pickles.  And drinking was pretty good, too. A Diet Coke, two large glasses of tea, a bottle of water, and a bottle of lemonade.

Even slow walking is exercise,,, great for the circulation. WTG! 5 hrs of walking is quite a feat!

I think you had a good Sunday too, Ann. Any amount of walking you can do at any pace is good exercise..........yay on walking 3 to 4 miles!

Well done on those smiles plus the hugs from Riley. Food and water looking pretty good!

My doctor visit told me I need to buckle down and get back to basics on my plan. I thought (hoped) I hadn't gained weight, but I had, and my blood sugar was up a bit, too. So it's back to planning my food and exercise ahead of time - and writing it down! And making a real effort to get back into extending the time and distance I walk - even if I don't/can't always walk fast. Just moving will be the goal! So far today I've done okay, but I'll do better tomorrow!

I know froom the past that you are very organized and disciplined so no doubt in a couple weeks you'll start to lose again, Ann.

Good luck to Ann and Suzan, two organized and disciplined people!! Journaling and counting calories is the only way I'm doing so well on my weightloss journey. Shocking at first when you start counting and seeing that what you thought was a good amount of food and not over eating actually is way too much!! It was shocking for me anyway when I began. Now I eyeball portion sizes when I have to, as in restaurants, but always weigh & measure and write down the foods and add up the calories. Best wishes to both of you, we all know you can do it!!

Dh and I were able to take our morning walk today as it was only 81º when we started out. We could feel it getting warmer and more humid as we walked. Temp rose 3º by the time we got back home. We were able to walk a bit further, though, and that makes me smile!! :womanvery-happy: It's going to be another successful day of staying right on track and I look forward to my weigh-in tonight at TOPS. Have a feel good kind of day everyone!!
