Yes Wednesday came and I went to accupuncture and discussed the series of injections that I and dh decided I should have. (5 in each knee , one a week for 5 weeks). I have read about it online and think it just may help them (maybe your dad tried it?) It's called : Hyalart. Only thing is the insurance doesn't cover the cost and it's expensive: hmmmm about Euro700 or $1000... but if it helps me? (and it can help to save the joint .... that's the most important thing at this point). Maybe I will start next week.

Bottom line is we try everything! My Dad just had a knee replacement which sounds as if it could be in your future Suzan. Thinking you are a little young yet. Everything crossed that the acupuncture works! I have heard good things about it!

Went to the gym Monday and Wednesday this week and did my own thing. A bit slack on calories this week but am happy I have done things towards getting my fitness back!

Well I'm not even thinking of knee replacement,, I'm not there yet and hope never to be,, hence the injections to try to build it all back up again.... ;O)

How did you go to the gym with that toe/joint obstacle... is it a tad bit better? Be careful....

I forgot to come here and make my confession last week. It's two weeks in a row now that at my Tuesday night weigh-in at TOPS, I gained 0.6 lbs each time!! We're beefing up our walking exercise and I'm doing extra with my hand weights, leg lifts and stretches and am in hopes that next Tuesday will be better!
