Suzan Monday:
I vacuumed as my exercise, lost my balance going around the foot stoll and fell literally flat on my stomach. DUh, so much for exercise. Diet was good, so far, (simple baked chicken legs /thighs and oven roasted potatoes for dinner with water and fruit for dessert (grapes tonight). I'm not really very hungry lately , can't beat that I guess.. LOL

Sorry you fell, Suzan, hope you didn't hurt yourself.

I lost another pound this past week--slow going, but then I'm not expecting to lose any! My portions are good and I'm eating fruits and vegetables. I just don't have much of an appetite, but I know I have to eat to survive. I've had one bite of the cherry pie I made for DH (LOL). Too sweet for me--I had to get a glass of ice water with lemon in it to get rid of the sweet! Yes, I always drink lots of water all day long.

I've been nice and smiled a lot at our customers--but I refuse to hug them (lol)! I wave and smile to the passing vehicles. And laugh at my furry critters. Not real happy with DH at the moment, so he will have to wait until he gets on my good side and quits being so stubborn and takes care of himself!

WTG on losing a pound Michelle!

Oh I'm not hungry, doesn't mean I don't eat... LOL I wish! I never serve any dessert other than fruit.
My back took a beating with that fall,,, as I didn't land in the best position and it wrenched the lower back where my 3 bad discs are.... anyway, wearing my lumbar support today so the back is resting! All will be good real soon,,, forever the optimist ;O)

I like tangerines too, but they are not officially out of season here,,,, we 're now going into the last of the grapes and starting imported strawberries LOL

Not really sure because I love food (LOL) and I like to cook! Probably just depressed--tired of the same old stuff to eat and having to cook all of the time. DH is happy with anything as long as its meat and potatoes--well he likes pasta too. Lots of things I would love to try but DH would never touch. Plus, the pills he is taking knock him out--if he is asleep when supper is ready then I have to fight him to wake up so he can eat--sometimes I can't even get him awake! Doesn't happen everyday, but so frustrating when it does. Last night, for example, he was awake when supper was ready. He ate half of the food on his plate and fell asleep. Today, he didn't even remember doing it, nor what he ate!

Sometimes, for whatever reason, the pills hit harder then at other times. It seems to me, when he gets overtired and has stayed out in the shop too long, they hit him harder. Most often it is his own fault--he won't take them on the same schedule everyday. Instead of taking a maintenance dose on a schedule, he will take them when he comes to the house, expecting them to start working immediately. If they don't start working after a couple of hours, he will take another dose--then it hits all at once and wonders why they hit him so hard. He thinks he is all too important to leave for a few minutes to take his pills (lol)! He always has 101 excuses for not taking them on a schedule--loses track of time, is in the middle of something, etc., etc. He won't set a timer. I've tried reminding him when it is time but he doesn't always take the time. I cannot convince him, nor his doctor either, that if he would take the minumun dose on the same schedule everyday so he maintains an even level in his system they would work better! Like I said, he is stubborn and he really hates to be told what to do! I certainly can't force them down his throat.

My dh is pretty much the same. He does take his BP meds every mornign after breakfast,, those have to be taken in the morning at the same time each day, (so the dr said)... other than that, til he takes a pill , the cow jumps over the moon. I agree with you about keeping the balance in the system and no one should wait (but most do) until the pain is great and then want it to disappear the moment that pill goes down. (and we are Adults!!!) LOL
