Okay, I'm back and life is still chaotic. But I need to post here for some accountability! I just got back from vacation. I've been working out regularly since January and I feel better and firmer for my efforts. I even worked out on vacation! I signed up again for WW at work. But the scale isn't moving. I'm making wiser food choices, but obviously they need to be wiser and I need to check my portion sizes. Need to drink more water. Gave and received hugs! Have a healthy and active week everyone!

Hi Teri, welcome back although I imagine you wish your vacation was just now starting! LOL
Just keep at it, slowly it will start to show progress again. Poriton sizes,,, important to keep those correct. ;O)

Welcome back, Teri! Sounds like you have been doing what you need to do--firming up can be just as important as losing weight. Muscles mass burns more calories and fat, even when you are sitting. LOL. Portion size is important too. Good luck!

I've been letting things slide a bit and the scale shows it! I have to get back to writing everything I plan to eat down and sticking to that plan! And I have to watch portion sizes.
Even my exercising has been hit and miss, due to a sore knee. I can't walk far before it starts to ache.

I have grown quite attached to the *litte man* that appears on my pedometer when I go over 10,000 steps and have seen him twice this week!

Well, I did better than I thought. Because of vacation it was two weeks between weigh-ins. I lost 3 pounds in those two weeks! So my efforts are beginning to pay off. Back to tracking with WW and my regular workouts this week.

Seems there is always room for improvement in my food choices, but did well enough this past week along with plenty of exercise, water/tea, smiles and hugs to lose the half pound I gained last week plus another half pound.

Welcome back from vacation, Teri! Well done on exercising regularly even on vacation...................YAY! While I'm sure you'd like to see the scale move in a downward direction, at least it is not going in an upward direction. Hopefully being back with WW will help move the scale downward.
