Ann, it is a shame that as we get older and really need to be more mindful of our food choices and exercise that our body gets in the way of so doing. At least you are mindful of what you've been doing and what you need to do. You done it before, you can do it again..............go Ann!

Good to see you popping in here Hilary and YAY on seeing that little man twice now! Am sure that hopefully once your health settles, you will be seeing that little man a whole lot more.

Take Care!

Hi Gail,
first off, thank you for "manning" the SB Healthy me board, I know I've been missing down here, but I can't sit long at the computer so have to concentrate on the top folder and my other 2 boards... sigh.

congratulations on the good food choices ( that really helps), sounds like you are on the right path. Feels good to get in a bit of exercise too. WTG on the weight lost.

I like your pretty new siggie!

HI let me know what he says about my theory... my (gyn) doesn't not believe it but I still do. Hilary, when you mentioned damp and mould.... consider asking him if you could have an allergy or somehow sucked in some mould spores (those resurface etc... ) Just a thought.
Glad you are walking though as it's important , problably the most important thing we undertake. (You do breathe in thru the nose and out the mouth right???) Most people don't... that's why I'm asking.

With your aching hip and knee I'm thinking "orthonic" for you in your shoes... it sure helps my aching joints.. and keeps them from getting worse.. just a thought!

So back on your plan, you always perservere and do so well..... ;O)

Just trying to be supportive which I don't always do a good job of, but you're welcome anyways, Suzan.

Actually I do exercise every day pretty much, just don't always make the best food choices, but am working on it and have improved.

Hi everyone..
Dh took me out for a walk in the forest today, (Coffee ran free off leash and rolled in the leaves). It was so nice to go out. He found me a really nice stick to try out as a cane, he thinks I need one for the time being. It did seem to keep me walking in a straighter line (and of course there's nothing to hold on to along the trails). So I am considering it. We'll see.

Yeah, if this hip and knee don't start feeling better soon, I'll have to talk to a doctor about orthotic
