Hope everyone's week is going well so far!!

I had a 2.4 lb gain at my TOPS weigh-in tonight. Frown

Okay, lesson learned! I know what I have to do and the challenge is on!!!

What went wrong? I stopped weighing and measuring foods and journaling calories. I cannot do this without counting calories!! There is no way we can know if we're eating too much or too little unless we count calories. It's okay not to when maintaining, but to lose steadily, journaling is a must. I will begin again tomorrow.

Exercise and water hasn't changed, though, still doing lots of that every day.

Hey healthy gal pals...feeling lonely here talking to myself. Hope more join in soon.

I'm finished with Day 1 of being strictly back on track. It went very well. I'm hungry right now and that's a good feeling!

I found my anchor again. In the beginning months of my reduction plan, my anchor was my naturopathic doctor who I talked to every week and kept me going and also the huge amount of money I've spent on this plan. Then when it was time to go into the next phase a few weeks ago, I felt I didn't want to spend anymore large sums of money on this, so I had to say goodbye to my doctor. Being on my own didn't go to well. I slacked off on journaling, ate some things I shouldn't have and gained a few pounds.

Well, I found out last night that I have to meet my goal by December 18th to be on stage at our TOPS convention next spring. I want that badly!!! So, I'm going for it and really want to do this and that is my anchor!! Wish Thanksgiving wasn't in there to have to cope with, but I'll do it.

Hope all is well in all of your lives and you're able to stick to your plans too.

Suzan, get well!!

My diet....

Donna will be making a cheese potato soup this weekend for the first time.
BTW .. don't know if I told you but the beer.cheese soup turned out very good!
Too bad we finally found the bread bowls after I finished mine but now I can give them to ds.

Thank you for starting the thread this week Donna,  honestly with my travelling guess I totally forgot...

haven't been doing any exercising this week, and eating is very touch and go,, eating a little bit today but drinking water.... the only upside of a stomach virus is that one loses weight quickly. LOL

I have read all the replies here.

Donna,    hope you make your goal Dec 18th,,, I'm sure you will.   You'll give it your best and will probably be increasing your walking when you start XMAS shopping.... LOL

Hugss,  try to get out for a walk with or without your gf,,,,,,   poop on your ipod and get going....  good for you and the fresh air will do you good,, remember it will start getting to snowy and icy and cold soon...

If I had enough energy to make soup I 'd be happy. I'm lazy about exercise too, that IS the whole problem. LOL

Hi my fellow exercisers.......   are there any here? LOL

None for me today,, unless cleaning the sinks is exercise.  LOL

Ate OK today, portions are tiny, but at least it all stayed down.   Ate a peeled apple this afternoon  LOL

Drank about 1.5 liters of H20 so am floating as I type.

Have a good weekend. and really try to do some sort of exercise this weekend...even if it's walking at the mall...

Ut..Oh..I have a lot of catching up to do here!! Embarassed

Hugs...I can sure relate to being lazy with walking!! I must get that treadmill working again!!  Your cheese soups sure sound good! I can't eat cheese right now, so I'll just enjoy hearing about it..lol! Any kind of potato soup is a favorite of mine. Bread bowls that you'll give to your son? Are they the round breads hollowed out & made into bowls or are you talking about a ceramic bowl that looks like bread? Glad you found them anyway. Eating just "so-so" for you is probably okay being that you're maintaining.

Hugs, I don't think you can be truly classified as a "soup-a-holic" unless you eat soup year round! Just sayin'! lol
