Please share the things you did to work towards a *healthier* and therefore *happier* you!

Exercise: Any exercise whether it was walking, housework, going to the gym, gardening! All activity counts.

Healthy diet choices: You made, or didn't make!

Water: Did you drink enough?

Diet Plan if applicable: For those going to TOPS, Weight Watchers or similar we would really like to know how you are going.

I've been working on getting my weight gain from last week off and doing well with it. It will be a good weigh-in next Tuesday night!! Good to be back on track, but still tired of all of it at the same time! Don't know if I'll make my goal by the 18th. It's not looking too promising at this point. Will see. I am drinking lots of water and exercising every day too. We finally got back to walking outside again today too.

Suzan...Hope you can keep up with eating less. Not a good way to get started on it, but a nice bonus nevertheless! Darn knees, hope they won't bother you anymore so you can finish your shopping and such. We've been watching Cmas movies and after the one tonight, I told J it seems like it should be snowing out! The weather here has been so nice with temps in the low to mid 60's. If it would keep up like this until spring, I could hate winter a lot less..lol!!

Megan...You sure are having an eating yummy foods and drinking yummy drinks good time there in FL!! LOL!! It really is fun taking a break from the healthy eating now and then. I'm sure you'll get those pesky 5 or 6 lbs off when you get back home and into your regular routine! In the meantime...enjoy!! :)

As for me, I did pretty well this week.  With the help of my stomach  "distress" I haven't been eating much, so now I'm getting used to not eating much... which is a GOOD thing.

I walked around the mall yesterday shopping for stocking stuffers but last night my knees were roaring and I had to get up and read a bit until my iboprufen kicked in.    oh ouch... nasty...  anyway,,,,  today am just doing laundry and looking out at the snow.

Well, it's normal to go off on holidays, that's what holidays are for : to overeat, be lazy, feel guilty, repent.  That is also why pants with elastic waistbands are so popular.  Made for the holidays.  LOL

You'll get back in shape in NY, sure you walk a lot there,,, now does NYU (or was it Columbia, opps, my brain is a seive lately)  have a marvelous fitness studio that you use at times?

Exercise: Been SO lazy over my past two weeks in Florida, haha. The only exercise I got was Black Friday shopping. Tons of walking here, and walking there. By the end of the day, I needed a foot massage lol. :)

Healthy diet choices: There were none, lol. :) Thanksgiving was, well, how do I say it, really really good. Ate a bit of nearly everything on the table (and the table was large). Managed to fit in some pie at the end, but by that time, I was ready to kick off my heels and lie down on the couch. Didn't make good choices the next day, either. Burger King for both breakfast and lunch on Black Friday, as well as the next day In all, I gained about 5-6 pounds in solid weight (probably more in water weight over those two days) Hopefully when I get back to NYC, I can get myself back into shape.

Water: I drank a lot of water, but I admit, I did drink a bit too much champagne and soda. Probably contributed to the really bloated feeling I had after dinner.

Hopefully I get myself back on track over the next few days. :)

Hugs, I hope your back problems go away soon....   perhaps try a heating pad?
