Please share the things you did to work towards a *healthier* and therefore *happier* you!

Exercise: Any exercise whether it was walking, housework, going to the gym, gardening! All activity counts.

Healthy diet choices: You made, or didn't make!

Water: Did you drink enough?

Diet Plan if applicable: For those going to TOPS, Weight Watchers or similar we would really like to know how you are going.

Megan...Know what you mean about eating during the holidays. I'm back on a very strict plan again and am concerned about Thanksgiving. It's going to be hard, but I'm going to stick pretty close to my plan. Yes, January is a getting back on the wagon month for some of us..lol! Enjoy the holiday while you can for it may be another long time before you get that good home cooked meal again! :)

Megan...Good for you for staying in good shape!! Both of my daughters are slim, ages 40 & 41. I tell my bio daughter to stay in shape for a fast metabolism is not in our genes and we have to work hard at staying in shape! She's sticking to it! I just lost 62 lbs over the past several months and have 16 more to go to reach goal. I'll get there and once I get there, there's no turning back! I know I'll never go through what I just did to lose a bunch of weight, so I won't ever regain it. I'm good at maintaining, though, so it won't be a problem. The fun bonus...a whole new wardrobe 3-4 sizes smaller..WooHoo!! Shopping is fun again!! Laughing

It's too bad you have to eat fast food burgers, way not healthy, but you have to do what you have to do when life is so busy.

Smiles means getting and receiving enough smiles to and from people in our lives. It's a positive thinking sort of thing. Smile

Definitely trying to stay healthy, lol. Eating those fast food burgers have taken a bit of a toll on me too; felt really bloated over the weekend.

The holidays are what scares me, though. I haven't had a good home cooked meal in about a year, so I'm really afraid that I'll overindulge. I have a feeling that I'll be exercising every day once January comes lol. Smile

Exercise: Did some heavy weightlifting over the weekend at the gym, a grad student has to stay fit lol. Noticing that my arms are getting really toned and ripped, as well as my thighs, I'm totally loving it. Still need to work off some stubborn belly pudge that I gained over the summer, but overall, I'm very satisfied with myself. Keeping that healthy BMI of 20.5. Innocent

Healthy diet choices: Didn't get to make many healthy choices this weekend; was constantly studying, so Burger King and McDonald's were my mainstays. Burgers, burgers, and more burgers. Looks like my diet won't be that great in the future either, especially next week with the holidays. But as long as I'm able to button my jeans without a fuss, I'm fine lol.Cool

Water: Definitely drank enough water, always have a bottle near me.

Diet Plan if applicable: N/A


Smiles : Hmm, since I'm new to this board, what are smiles? :)

While nothing wrong with maintaining I am sure you'll get rid of those last pounds too
They are always the hardest & with holidays & your busy life makes it even more difficult I am sure.
Hang in there as I know you'll get to your goal :)

Hugs..You're doing great as always! You inspire me to stay on track and I really mean that!!

Suzan..Good you've been out walking and raking. That must mean your shaky legs are doing better?

I'm pretty much just maintaining these days. I go up and down 2 - 3 lbs and pretty much stay at that weight. I do want to lose a bit more weight, but have many functions going on that include food. Besides that, I'm just so darned tired of dieting!! Working my way back to the boring menu that I was on for so long, though, and was so successful at. I'll get to goal eventually.
