You gals are putting me to shame with Hilary sweating like a man..lol..and Suzan running and jumping!! I have WALK on my calendar for tomorrow and I'll try to boot myself out the door and do it!! I love walking and don't know why I get into these slumps!

Today I had my protein shake for breakfast with blueberries in it. Lunch was a whole wheat sandwich of turkey, red sweet pepper slices, lettuce, and olive oil mayo. Dinner was left over whole wheat noodles that I made into a tuna macaroni salad.

Then it happened....After DGD's concert tonight, J and I went to Applebees with DD2 & DGD, the others had to go home, and J and I each had our own dessert!! We were going to share one, but decided to get our own. OMG..was that ever good!! I hope the scale is kind to me tomorrow!

Suzan, your bowl of cut up fruit sounds so good! I like the taste of sliced banana and orange slices together too. I didn't eat enough vegetables today, will do better tomorrow.

I would love to be able to walk in the bush near us .. just me .. but sadly not safe to do that these days. It would be save 99.9% of the time but ......................... You did well Suzan.

I haven't done as well as I had hoped this week but am still *in the mood* to be good so, today is a new day and the last few days haven't been too bad health and fitnesswise!

Applebees .. we eat there a lot when in the U.S. Thinking that was the place I like their shrimp salad! I saw the word *dessert* in your post so decided to do myself a favour and not read that one LOL! LOL!

oh just one dessert won't hurt,, it's when it becomes the norm that it does....
your dinner sounded good.

I like the walking, but lately when I walk the more I walk the worse my knees feel, the just tighten right up, beginning to make me nervous. Hard to do the stairs or downhill with them so stiff... just don't know why this is happening as walking should be good on the joints and not make them stiff.

I have no doubt you'll get back to it,, as I know how much better you feel when you go to the gym.... build it back into your schedule dear.... it's the only way.... not as something on the to do list, but something like washing your face and brushing your teeth. Look who's talking here,,, exercise is at the bottoom of my lists.hmmm

That is it really .. need to get back into the *habit* of it. You are 100% right. Exercise makes Hilary happy .. just ask dh LOL!

Today I made very good food choices and tonight had a big bowl of sliced fruit again,, it's refreshing for sure.

Suzan..That sounds like such a fun time you and your husband had with Diva in the forest..woods..park..you know..lol!

Sorry your knees are hurting! Mine were hurting while in Branson from walking up and down hills so much. They kept hurting at home until just a couple of days ago. I think staying off of them...good excuse for not walking..lol...and taking Ibuprophen regularly has helped. Now, I'll ease up on the Ibuprophen and get to walking more again. I hope your pain is an easy fix!

We ran errands this afternoon, got our flu shots; but didn't do enough walking. Tomorrow's another day. I'm eating well..no desserts..lol! We seldom order dessert and when we do, it's normally one that we share...me 2 - 3 bites and J the rest. Once in awhile, though, a person needs to indulge! :)

Guzzlin' the water! After this big glass I'm drinking now, I will have had enough today. Yesterday I didn't drink enough..but..last night I fell right to sleep and didn't awaken until 8am this morning!! That is very rare for me! I'm usually up 3 or 4 times to potty!!

Godd idea on the desserts ,, too bad my dh doesn't eat ANY sweets at all....
