It's going to be a kind of tough week to stick to a diet plan, but I'm going to do my best! I've still got the lemon water and I'm keeping bad snacks out of the house so I won't be tempted. I'll continue to walk on the treadmill and, weather permitting, I'll get in a few walks in while I'm up north.

Have a fun time Ann!! Enjoy the foods that are there within reason and watch your portion sizes and you'll be fine. When you get back, you can resume your diet plans. You're doing well!!

OK Gals, new week.
Let's all try to do better this week.....  I know I need to.

THIS WEEK:
a.    Choose one aspect that you could do better with and pump up the volume.
b.   Start building up your immune system: like it or not winter is coming:
more sunshine & fresh air, walks, vits, echinacea, herbal teas & an afternoon nap

Good luck

Hmmm..I'm on track with foods, water, exercise, sleep well, a good balance of fun and relaxation in my life, I'm happy and healthy. Really don't know what else I could be doing to make my life even better!

I have a strong immune system and rarely get sick. I do all of the healthy things, don't eat junk foods, don't eat packaged foods, eat fresh veggies and fruits every day, get enough sleep, have a low to no stress life, take appropriate supplements, drink lots of green and other healthy teas, study health foods and such every day online, my blood counts are all excellent, I have a happy home life and if there's something else I can do, I don't know what it is.

You're doing all the right things Donna,
Can't wait to hear about your WI tonight :smileyhappy:

a. Well, I already began last week to try an pump up the volume on exercise by doing yoga and other exercise daily besides walking and have done pretty good so far. Will continue to work on making yoga and other exercise a part of my daily routine.
b. Will continue trying to get in daily walks for sunshine and fresh air, already take my vits and other supplements most days, already drink green tea and since I sleep so terrible at night a daily nap if possible most days would be a good idea.

Good on the extra exercise Gail!! Yoga is so good for balance too!!

So nice for walking outside now! Darn on that sleep! Hope that improves!!

It's not going to be a big loss this week. Scale just wasn't budging much. Crossing my fingers that it is a loss or even staying the same though. Will see.

Thanks, Suzan. I am enjoying at least keeping up with just some basic yoga poses along with some other exercise as well and once I hopefully make it a well established habit, I'll increase the amount of yoga I do.

Did manage to take a small nap yesterday..........................thanks!

It is a whole lot better walking outside now. I just love the morning and evening coolness!

Think in part the lack of sleeping well is hormones and part hereditary (if there is such a thing), my dad doesn't sleep well at night either and hasn't for years. Thanks, Donna!

OMGosh!!! I had a gain!!! I gained 0.4 lbs!!!

That was hard to take!! I'm in week 18 and this was my first gain. I'd been in a stall or plateau and then had that cheat Sunday and it all added up to a slight gain!! Darn it!!!

I've been struggling lately too. I'm on track and sticking to it, but am so tired of it!! Ten more days and my doctor is bumping up my calories again for three weeks and I can hardly wait to eat more or different foods!! Then he'll lower my calories again as I head to my goal. I want to be struggling to keep the weight off and not working to get it off!! Okay, patience Donna, get a grip gril!!! lol
