Please share the things you did to work towards a *healthier* and therefore *happier* you!

Exercise: Any exercise whether it was walking, housework, going to the gym, gardening! All activity counts.

Healthy diet choices: You made, or didn't make!

Water: Did you drink enough?

Diet Plan if applicable: For those going to TOPS, Weight Watchers or similar we would really like to know how you are going.

OK Gals, new week. 
Let's all try to do better this week.....  I know I need to.

THIS WEEK:  
a.    Choose one aspect that you could do better with and pump up the volume.   
b.   Start building up your immune system: like it or not winter is coming:
more sunshine & fresh air, walks, vits, echinacea, herbal teas & an afternoon nap

It's going to be a kind of tough week to stick to a diet plan, but I'm going to do my best! I've still got the lemon water and I'm keeping bad snacks out of the house so I won't be tempted. I'll continue to walk on the treadmill and, weather permitting, I'll get in a few walks in while I'm up north.

I'll add some time/distance to my treadmill walking and work in a few faster minutes during my walking.

I already am taking vitamins and echinacea and I do nap when I get a chance, or need to (sometimes a nap just happens while I'm reading or watching tv, lol). Herbal tea is a good idea. I think I'll make it a habit to drink more of that.

You have the whole camp grounds to walk in and quite a few gals there to walk with I'm sure....... breathe in the fresh air,,, and have fun!
Good idea keeping the bad snacks out of the house, I have to go thru and clear out my cupboards too!

a. Well, I already began last week to try an pump up the volume on exercise by doing yoga and other exercise daily besides walking and have done pretty good so far. Will continue to work on making yoga and other exercise a part of my daily routine.
b. Will continue trying to get in daily walks for sunshine and fresh air, already take my vits and other supplements most days, already drink green tea and since I sleep so terrible at night a daily nap if possible most days would be a good idea.

Well you are doing very well then Gail... enjoy your yoga, I hear it's also very relaxing....
Hope you put yourself down for a nap today,,,, sorry you are not sleeping well at night.

Wow ! Lots of thunder outside... all of a sudden as 2 hrs ago we were with ds/dil / at a garden restaurant outside having dinner.... anyway, back to this thread..., what kind of herbal tea do you like?

Hmmm..I'm on track with foods, water, exercise, sleep well, a good balance of fun and relaxation in my life, I'm happy and healthy. Really don't know what else I could be doing to make my life even better!

I have a strong immune system and rarely get sick. I do all of the healthy things, don't eat junk foods, don't eat packaged foods, eat fresh veggies and fruits every day, get enough sleep, have a low to no stress life, take appropriate supplements, drink lots of green and other healthy teas, study health foods and such every day online, my blood counts are all excellent, I have a happy home life and if there's something else I can do, I don't know what it is.
