"they " being me. I have found out one thing, once you are diagnosed with osteoarthritis, it becomes the cause of every symptom you have.

I am trying different things and still going back and forth about these wedges they put in my shoes ,, whether the do work or make it worse. just not sure. If flareups are caused by wearing them , or not wearing them. It will be winter soon and I'll need to have some built into winter shoes so have to be sure. hmmm... at any rate am trying the heating pad and it does seem to help a bit (a bit=big relief on my part) .

I almost had to call dh to come and get me at the grocery store Monday morning. I was doing just fine and then I wasn't , it comes on THAT fast. Anyway Hilary, I 've been thru worse and will conquer this one too. I wanted to start swimming, but am a bit afraid of being in the water by myself. (and the cold water /muscle cramps hmmmm). Maybe they have kick boards,, we 'll see. Now that school started again today, I can consider going . (way too crowed and doing laps is impossible when it's filled with kids, so now they are all in school until 1:30 pm , yes 1/2 day school here still ). So I'll try it in the mornings.

ARe you drinking green tea or regular?
I agree with being stuck in the house and watching calorie intake! When indoors we end up super glued to the fridge!
Glad you have spring now and can start to do more outdoor things,, enjoy your walks,, that's a very good way to break back into exercise.

I used the heating pad again last night and I slept much better. Should I hope?

Shooters sounds good!! That would be the ice cream kind, the other kind would knock this gal for a loop!! LOL

So glad to hear you slept better, that is so important!! Always hope!!

I will try the rose hip , although it is NOT my favorite. Have to tell you though that that's what they serve as tea or cool beverage in hospitals here. They always have a little refreshment stand at the end of the hallways (for the mobile patients) and they have pitchers of cool rose hip tea to drink.

guess I'd be laughing if you did say you went to the gym! With little Olly there, who wants to leave the house? I am pretty sure your green tea with vanilla has 0 calories in it,, if you don't use sugar in it.
