Oh no, hope it's not plantar faciitis.

I believe that is exactly what it is :smileysad:
She is getting shots right now
She still does other kinds of exercises.
We hope to get back to it first in October :smileyhappy:

Hugs, that's what my dh has too. It's been keeping us from walking and I really miss it!! My treadmill is way not as much fun as walking outside!! Hope you and I can both get back to walking outdoors again soon!!

Aww bummer Donna,
Is he doing anything for it?
Sure hope we both can get out with our buddies again soon  :smileyhappy:

Yes, he's been going to a physical therapist. The exercises she gave him have made a big difference. He got released from PT this morning and said he will keep up the exercises. If he slacks off, he knows he'll have me nagging him, so I'm sure he will keep them up..lol!

Hi D,

I'm not going as there will be close to 1/4 million people there at any given time and I can't handle even 10 people in a given place much less a bunch of rowdy drunken tourists pushing and shoving.   I've gotten quite "claustrophobic" with this condition of mine, it's not pleasant at all.   Crowds really throw me off balance and I get jumpy and scared when there are loud noises.  I've gone to it for 32 yrs so one year won't make a big difference.

I can certainly your fears!! Smart staying away.

After 11 am I seem to get better, so it's not a total loss of a day or days.   This will all just take time.   Lately  I seem to be getting a lot worse again, but the surgeon  warned this might happen , but jeepers it is discouraging.

Oh, goodness, I would get discouraged during the worse times too! Good your surgeon mentioned that it could happen, though, so at lest you know it's normal. Hope you feel better again soon.

Suzan for Thursday:
I t just seems to me that all (most ) of my exercise is cleaning of some sort. I suppose it's OK as I can't do any "real" exercises right now, so better to keep moving. Today I trimmed one of the pines out front, picked up that mess, then vacuumed the upstairs and downstairs W2W carpeting and the granite entryway and kitchen. I cleaned the kitchen, then duested the windows sills, did 2 loads of laundry, got out some of my winter clothes and put away some summer things in my underbed storage boxes, ate 6 cookies (darn), then sat and watched an episode of D- Abbey, that was nice. Do not plan to do much more this afternoon, need to rest now.

I made no healthy food choices so far today, but will make an effort to go drink a 1/2 liter of water while watching the next episode of D A. .

No surprise that most of your exercise is cleaning. Just make sure that the bending, stretching, turning, wiping, and other motions cleaning requires isn't doing more harm than good. I mean, if you can't do "real" exercises right now, are you also doing some cleaning motions that you also shouldn't be doing? Yes, it's good to keep moving somewhat as long as you're not overdoing it. Not overdoing cleaning is something unfamiliar to you. <w>

Same ol' same ol' with me. Boring!

Staying right on track with foods always.

Drinking 10 - 12 glasses of water every day plus at least two mugs of hot tea.

Exercising every day and am finding myself getting stronger as time goes on.

Today I went out to dinner twice. First was lunch with my sis-in-law to YaYa's Eurobistro where we always go. They have really good food there, but they did make foods for me cooked to my specifications that were how I have to eat now. Then I took my oldest dgd to Applebees tonight and they always cook my foods just right for me too. Stayed right on track except for those two french fries of dgd's that I ate. Ouuu..bad me..lol!

Dgd mentioned that my dd1 (her aunt) and dgd also don't like my diet and will be glad when it's over with!! Good thing my diet annoys other people and doesn't annoy me!! lol! I'll be glad when it's over, too, but I am loving the results!! It is so very well worth not eating the bad for me foods!!
