lol That was cute, Suzan.

Wow, you spent a lot of time decorating your tree. Time to rest up a bit!

yes it's a huge thing as most of my ornaments are very tiny but I have sooo many of them,, so takes longer than the normal I guess.

Most years I can relate to this. This year, though, I've avoided at least half of those. And we never have to find a tree - it's always stashed away here somewhere. I might, however replace the finding with the assembling the tree. (What? We had enough orange coded branches last year. Look through them again)

I have a lot of ornaments that belong to our boys so if I ever give them to the boys I won't have any left for our tree. lol

LOL you got me curious so I measured it. It's a bit smaller than we usually get but was very green and fresh and full. It's 6 1/2 feet wide and about 8 feet tall. If you remember, I am a bit O/C (stop laughing at that Donna), so yes the 300 lights and 200 ornaments have to be perfectly placed. I still have about 30 more ornaments to put on it. I love it,, it's just so pretty. You have to understand that I also can not stand pine needles on the floor, so I also have to keep vacuuming under the tree as I decorate. It's a curse actually.

Of course if little Catherine would like to come next year and decorate the tree, she may cure me of my O/C decorating frenzy. (you are thinking I should get my own grands, but nothing in the oven that I know of. There is only little Coffee diva and she's not into decorating my tree LOL)

Nope had never heard the song before,, not sure if it is over 32 years (that's how long I've been here and my last XMAS stateside). I mentioned in an email to my brother about hating to string lights and he sent me the link to that song!
