About to give up ship for the year . . .

Well, after trying five times, I was finally able to log in. The posts are all jumbled. And replies to posts are listed ahead of the original post. I think I will eliminate this frustration til after the Christmas rush. I will miss you all and I do promise to be back to check things out later this month or early in the year.
In the meantime, I wish everyone a blessed and Merry Christmas. Happy New Year too.

I know what you mean, Teri. Some days, it just isn't worth the hassle to post here anymore. It's just sad, seeing what was once a great, fun site become such a source of frustration. And it's doubly sad to know they did it themselves. Have a very nice holiday season and I hope to see you here in the new year.

I can only use IE to post at IV. Too many problems in Firefox and Chrome. I do okay in IE though.

i've been trying since sunday afternoon to get back into ivillage and finally it let me in today.
they are working on the problems, so hopefully things will be better soon.

Just wanted to pop in since I"m covering for CMCynthia today. I know you guys keep hearing this but it's really true that our tech team is continuing to work on all the issues. No one has "thrown in the towel" or anything. With that said, I KNOW it's frustrating- I SO wish I had an easy fix for you.
Wanting to take a break is understandable, especially during the busy holiday season, but I hope that you won't totally "throw in the towel" for good. You're right- this is an awesome community and it WILL come back. Please continue to check in with us periodically. You can also check for updates on our help board, located here:

CM Lisa, thank you for your encouragement! At the meeting, was there any talk of IV doing more advertising in magazines, radio, tv, to try to get more members to join? We've lost so many across the boards. I so hope ours will come back, but we need new faces too.
Well, thankfully only had to log in twice to finally be allowed to post. understand how you're feeling Teri. Been staying away myself because of how things are here since the changes were made. Also been busy and just have not been in the posting or health & fitness frame of mind. Anyways, maybe like you I'll try again after the holidays.
