Have you already planned your Christmas dinner?

(I'm serving a simple version of my Thanksgiving dinner on Christmas:
as we went out to the buffet on Tday.
Ds want MY turkey. It will be just dh, me, ds and dil & Coffee)

Do you prepare something special on Christmas eve also?

(nothing special for dh and myself)

Most of my friends and family and I make lasagna without cooking the pasta first. Delicious and so much easier!! Here's a recipe, but you can use any sauce and add any meat or chicken or none or spinach or mushrooms or more cheese or less cheese or whatever you'd like........

another dish that I absolutely love and make when my ds requests it is cannoloni (sp). I hardly ever make lasagne anymore but like to stuff those cannoloni. Basically is the same thing just differently shaped. LOL
Cute on your dd not eating it any other time of the year.
FRAN?? How is the cake pop business going?

darn my quick reply is working , then not , then working, then not... bummer

Hilary, I have made the one in the picture the only difference in mine was,, after rolling it lay it down like the photo , then slice it in half (width) so that you have 2 short rolls instead of one and then stand them up on the cut side with the fluted side up.

I usually make cannolini instead of lasagne, but when I DO make lasagne then I do the rolled version.

You have me curious,,, what is cowboy soup?

I like the idea of having finger foods, that is a wonderful tradition.
It's easy to accomplish and I can understand why the kids eat better that way.
Big sit down dinners are really not
