Any signs of spring yet?

I'm hoping to hear that someone sees some buds on their trees.... LOL

No signs of spring around here except easter candy in the stores.  Outside? Nilch.  We're at 30 °F and still lots of snow; I need to get dh to knock it off the hedge before it ruins the hedge.

Any signs of spring outside in your area yet?

Sorry, there's not a bud nor blade of grass to be seen around here and the temperatures are hovering around 20 today. BUT . . . I feel spring coming. The other day I went outside and despite the snow covering the lawns and the frozen slush in the road, I could swear I smelled Spring in the air. Dh said he'd noticed it, too. The days are getting longer and the light itself is coming from a different, higher angle. So, although, it doesn't look like it, the first robins and spring buds are surely just a few weeks (maybe days!) away.

Yes, I saw a wonderful sight today!! I was driving through a shopping center and passed a Walmart. They're beginning to put their spring gardening supplies outside!! They had some trees for sale and were unloading lots of stacks of either fertilizer or wood chips. I tried to take a picture, but the battery on my camera was dead. Nice to see though!

Snow is covering spring bulbs peeking up through the soil. I haven't been inside stores yet that carry outdoor furniture and those types of supplies, but I expect they're being put out, too, as they usually do when the Easter candy is out. There are 17 more days until spring here..Yay!! Next week the temps will be in the 50's and 60's and the days are noticeably longer. :)

replying to all again,,, (sorry need to save computer time today)

Hugs, Ann & Donna......  I have also noticed that it's lighter out earlier and Ann now that you mention it, the light it higher up, that makes all the difference.   Donna, I have seen all the BBQ's and outdoor stuff in the DIY markets and the summer bulbs hanging,  etc.    But until end of May nothing could be planted here (last time of frost).

For all :  I do see many little blue /grey birds flying back and forth to the bird houses and they are just sooooo sweet!  So there's promise .

Unfortunately there are now fox and wild pigs in the forest hunting for food and wandering around.  So we have to put a bell on Coffee's halter, when the wild animals hear her coming they run away.   Scary but true.

Suzan, that is a bit scary. Glad Coffee has  the bell to scare them off. Wild hogs are dangerous , gthe fox are only if they have rabies..usually they are nocturnal & run away

My neighbor had some bluebirds in her yard. I want to see them! Talk of bluebirds make me think of Diane & her quest to get them in her yard !
