Can't get myself in gear!

I took MIL to FL on Thurs. afternoon to see her DD (my SIL). SIL called late Wed. afternoon from SC where she has been living with her son and DIL since last Oct for health reasons. She had put her house on the market to sell and it sold so had to get her furniture moved to SC. SIL, her DIL and another friend drove down Thurs. SIL set up the move the day before (lol), so all this is spur of the moment (lol)! The realtor let the movers in on Thurs. morning and they started packing things--SIL, et al, drove down Thurs. afternoon and got there before the movers left that day and MIL and I arrived around 6 p.m. We went out to dinner. Movers were back at 9 a.m. on Friday. I was tasked with driving SIL to do errands around town to finish up with the tax office and bank and pick up lunch for everyone. MIL was tasked with keeping her DD out of the way when at the house (lol)! The movers left around 3 p.m. for SC. We did the trash run, then departed around 3:30--MIL and I headed back to GA and the others for SC. The movers were at their house on Sat. morning around 8 a.m. to drop off the stuff that went to the house, then to the storage unit to unload the rest.

Saturday morning was work as usual for me. Ate lunch, then I slept all afternoon--literally all afternoon and woke up at 5 p.m. in time to fix supper (lol)! Had to take extra meds to get the nerves in my shoulder/back calmed down and quit hurting. Then slept all night!

And today, Sunday, I can't get going (lol)! Lots to do but still dragging. I was planning on going to FL to help but geez it would have been nice to have more than one day notice--at least it is now out of the way! Next trip is scheduled for June to SC to go to grand nieces wedding/MIL's great granddaughter. We aren't going to grand niece's college graduation in May--lots going on for that family--glad it's not me!

OH my, what a whirlwind busy and exhausting trip for you. Good thing is the move is over adn behind you and the family . Glad you could be helpful, but now you have to concentrate on getting yourself back to health and get the nerves calmed down. I hope sleeping helped and would just suggest that this week, whether you feel you need it or not, to take a nap (doesn't mean you have to sleep, but lay on the bed and "veg-out".) You have to let those shoulders really relax as you know if you don't it will take a long time for them to do so.... enough of my lecture. LOL The wedding should be fun I hope and not a lot of work for you (hoping) At least you have some advance notice on that... Glad you are back home safely, now please take it easy. (())
