I am so glad to hear you got some new outfits... because that means you went out shopping, got out of the house and did something fun for yourself.

You should plan an ELKs thing every weekend....  that would relieve a lot of stress...

Have fun this month,,, and stick to your guns and not have XMAS at your place.....  or go away on the 25th,, take a cruise!

Ann from Wisconsin here.

The 8th we have the party for where T works. This year it'll be at the Harley Davidson Museum!

The 19th is dd's birthday. We'll celebrate on the 15th or 16th, or maybe just wait till they're here on the 22nd. Have to check with her on that and see what she wants to do.

The 22nd and 23rd C, B, and R will be here. We'll celebrate Christmas then because they have a big party at a hall with B's mom's family the 24th and will do something with his dad and step-mom on Christmas Day.

Christmas Eve and Day I'm not sure what we'll do. Maybe go to the party (maybe... if we're invited, lol), maybe just chill here.

New Year's Eve probably will be low-key here. I doubt we'll even stay up till midnight. 2013 can arrive just fine without our help, lol.

sounds like a nice festive week for you. Nothing wrong with celebrating the XMAS a couple days early, have done that many times when my ds was in college and had to return to study and we needed to accomodate his schedule. So that' what we did. It did'#t bother me to be alone with dh on XMAS , we went out to eat,, all the restaurants hold a nice meal on XMAS day.... ;O) I doubt we'll do anything NYear's eve also,,, I just don't "get" it at all,,, and will sleep when I'm tired. LOL (what a stick in the mud I am). Of course if there was a party, I would consider it... LOL
