If staying home or going to family,,, what will you be eating?
Did you buy easter candy?
Do you do easter baskets,,
will you be coloring eggs?
....... other details , what ever you feel like sharing....

We'll be doing Easter separately for the most part. I'll be at Colleen's this weekend and my niece's husband and son will be at my house! They are going to go to a Brewers exhibition game and asked if they could stay with us, so Tom will be in charge of any other activities they do.

I'll probably just have something at Colleen's. I'll bring some things I like with me and I'm sure Colleen will leave me some things, so I'll find something to eat from whatever is there.  Tom is in charge of feeding our guests at home, lol.

I bought some candy for Riley, but nothing (yet) for us here. I'll make up a basket for Riley and give it to her when they get home on Sunday.

I'm not going to bother coloring eggs.

You have a good time no matter what you do, hoping you feel up to going at all.....  with the earache....  (())   Actually it's a good time for you to just kick back and relax and recuperate while there.   Funny that Tom will be taking care of your guests,,, LOL

Not sure I'll do any eggs either,, just sounds like one more thing to do for me this year (although I like to color eggs... )

Yeah, I thought of not going to C's, but I can cough and have a blocked ear there as easily as here, so I'm going. And, frankly, I'd rather be there alone than trying to entertain guests here. Turbo and Gage don't expect much of me, lol.  And maybe I'll be better by Friday. If this ear is still blocked and achey tomorrow, I'll call my doctor and see if she can give me anything or do anything to help. If I could just get that fixed, I think I'd feel pretty good!

Hi Ann,  just call the doctor.... it's too close to the Easter holiday to wait, and (me thinks) those antibiotics should have helped the ear by now somewhat....  don't want you to have to suffer over the holidays..

UR right, Gage adn turbo won't care if you can't hear them.....  they'll cuddle you any way you arrive.

I don't know what to do for Easter. We'll go to church and then we were invited to friends home for dinner. We like going there and she's a really good cook, but I don't know if I can face another event where I can't eat the foods!! Last weekend going to two restaurants and not eating the foods was so very hard on me, I mean *really* hard!! I'm not sure I want to cope with doing that again this soon. I'll have to see how I feel that day I guess.

No candy for us and no Easter baskets and no coloring eggs. I'm still doing the diet thing.

HI D,

I understand about not being able to participate in the delicious foods served .....  well it is Easter and you must be  only 50 ounces away from your goal , perhaps you could some of the prepared meal,, sparing the decadent dessert if there is one.....   maybe a bit of meat an veggies, water and skip any gravy....  enjoy yourself and the friendships just not the most fatty parts of the meal.....  (just trying to be helpful)  (())

Suzan..Hmmm..your message posted twice.

I know I could do that for Easter dinner or I could take my own foods with me, but it's honestly getting to be too hard for me to do that anymore. Being surrounded by good foods and only eating a tiny bit of them is too much for me right now. I need a food break! Best to stay away from all of that for awhile.

I'm at goal now, but need to get a bit below goal. I also have to show a loss the next two weigh-ins. After that I should be maintaining okay.
