Ok, so I went out to lunch with some of my friends, and we ate. At the end, I felt really bloated, and the button on the top of my jeans was digging into my stomach, so I leaned back and unbuttoned them. My friend next to me told me that it was rude and "unwomanly" to do something like that. (She's a bit of a prude). Was I rude to do that, and am I the only one that's ever done this?

Boy, I can relate to how uncomfortable it is having the button dig into one's stomach after eating (or any other time).

Not rude and I think Twoki covered everything.

Maybe next time do it in a less obvious, more dignified manner! Couldn't have been a good look really .. still, who cares what others think.

The poster does care about what others think or she would not have posted her message!!

We all care about what others think...we just don't care a whole lot about what others think!! LOL!!!

I agree about going to the restroom to unbutton and then pull your shirt down over the unbuttoned waist.

Thank you all for the respones. There were a lot of friends with us, and it was in one booth, and I was squished, so I didn't feel like getting up and going to the bathroom just to do that. It's just that my friend is a MAJOR prude, this has happened before with other things. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that sometimes needs to pop the top button open. :smileyvery-happy:
