Friday, Sat & Sunday Chit Chat

Had a nice afternoon out on the town with my dh. Weather is quite cold though but we picked up my new glasses. I like them, have to get used to them though, sure see extremely sharp now. We tried a new cafe, very modern and upper scale, UGH , didn't like it at all.

good night, I'm going to sit on the heating pad and watch Who wants to be Millionaire? (Wer wird Millionär in German ) . Opps, it's over, go figure!

I furbaby sat Coffee for a couple hours today, we played Frisbee in the back yard, it was fun.

I agree about the modern places. I like a cafe that is a bit old fashioned but not old and shabby. I don't like GJ or Starbucks, too crowded and the lines are too long and it's nice to be served a hot cup of tea. We rarely drink coffee. As in your area, you can forget weekends at the chain cafes, unless you are just taking to go. I also never ever drank coffee as a teen. Not allowed at home and when out we drank cherry cokes or milk shakes. I was allowed to have some ice tea in the summer but only after I had my glass of milk. LOL

The glasses are a bit thicker (hence heavier) so I'm not liking them but will get used to it. If I can't get used to it then he'll grind them down to the thickness of my other glasses . They are only 1 gram heavier and that's really nothing but on the nose it somehow feels like a ton of bricks. LOL

Have fun this weekend. Happy Birthday on Sunday and tooo funny about that nap around 2pm.
