Friday & Weekend Plans Jan 18, 19 20

hoping you all have a nice weekend what ever you are planning (or not)

We are still battling snow here,,, it 's a fine snow, coming down lightly but never stops,,,  have to take dil & Mike to the pediatrician today, (first time for me and the car seat etc, hope dil knows how to get that thing in and out as I have no clue.  LOL (anyway, I can lift him and the car seat together: just too heavy for me.)

No other plans this weekend.  (other than shoveling snow LOL) Parking is really difficult right now with all the snow, the streets in Munich (Europe) are really tiny and when the plow goes thru (WHEN they do,,, hahahah),  parking is nilch.  Which leaves the mall, but those are crowded on snowy or rainy day for sure.   We'll see.

Ann, I know you like Harrison Ford.   I watched patriot games last night... that was exciting.   (on TV so had to endure the commericals ugh) .   A couple weeks ago the showed him in Witness, I like that film too....

See U all over the weekend, (when and if I can sign in ).....

Suzan, I always took the whole seat out with Colleen, but Colleen leaves the car seat in the car all the time and just takes Riley out. It's a lot easier than hauling the seat out and getting it back in, although I still often have trouble getting her in and out of that harness! She's strapped into that seat better than most race car drivers, lol! Anyway, if that's an option for your dil, it could save you both a lot of trouble. And Mikie would be easier to carry!

I've seen Patriot Games and Witness and both were really good. There have only been a couple movies of H. F.'s I haven't liked - Random Hearts and one I can't think of the name for... He was a cop, I think. Maybe The Devil's Own?

My weekend is completely empty, lol. We have no plans at all. I hope something comes up or it'll be a long, boring weekend!

Take it easy shoveling. I'll probably be around - if I can get in.

Well I have wondered why they don't do that,,, I can't leave it in my car as they need it in theirs. They bring the car seat right in the house with them becaause they use it at home when he wants to sit, he likes it.   when we get to destination, the wheels and body of the baby carriage are in the trunk of the car and then thyt gets set up and then the car seat snaps into that and off we go.

I'm not sure of the cop movie with HF but do remember seeing one.  Also another one with him as president (???) an airplane thing and then the other night they had Henry or something,, a lawyer that goes out to buy a pack of ciggies and gets shot.......   that was just too sad for me...

anyway, even long boring weekends can work into something special... things come up or ya stay home and have yourself a good movie watching marathon or finish all those books one has started...  LOL

How is Tom's car  running these days?

Have  a nice weekend, TTYL.

Oh, okay, if the seat does double duty as a baby seat and stroller seat, I can see why they take it out. I used Colleen's as a baby seat, too, but it wasn't a stroller. They didn't have fancy things like that when she was a baby, lol!  We've had Riley's seat in our car a few times - Colleen just takes it out of hers and puts it into ours, but it's a hassle to do, so unless we have her alone, she rides in C or B's car (or truck? What do you call an SUV anyway?)

I didn't like the HF movie, Regarding Henry, either. It was sad and I hated seeing him so weak, lol! But I loved him as the president in Air Force One.

Tom's car is running even better than before. It was some sensor that made it run rough and sometimes start very hard. He got the part, put it in and all is well. :-)

Happy Weekend!!

Today we're just hanging out taking it easy. Today's 31 Day Organization assignment is to clean out under the kitchen sink. We did that recently when our new garbage disposal was installed. So glad to have those projects finished!! Tonight we're going to our pro-soccer game.

Oh, did I tell you our new microwave finally came in and was installed Wednesday? So thankful to have that done too!! It was a real hardship on us!! No more living like pioneer people!! lol

Saturday...Getting my nails done and fine tuning my lesson I'll be giving Tuesday night at TOPS.

Sunday...Sunday school & church. Probably won't go out for Chinese dinner this time though. Have to get back into my leeway by Tuesday night's weigh in. I'd better prepare dh now for not eating Chinese this Sunday. Poor guy!

Have a good weekend everyone!!

Hi D.

Please give my condolences to J, (no chinese dinner on sunday).  (())

I cleaned under the sink in December,, needs it again,,,,, amazing how dirty it can get down there,, but then again since the trash /bio/ recyling bins are in there also I guess it should be expected.  ;O)    I like that organizing plan you are on,, think I will make one up for myself.

Good luck with the weight loss and for your lecture on Tuesday....  you'll do fine on both accounts I'm sure of that.

glad you like your microwave....

Thanks Suze...not sure I'm going to make my weightloss leeway this time. Nervous about it. Working hard on it though.

Haven't broken the news yet to J about no Chinese food tomorrow. I'll tell him later..lol!

Today's 31 Day Organization assignment was to get rid of all old magazines and catalogs. Ha! Easy peasy for me! I learned many years ago to not keep old magazines. When they come in, I read them and then put them right into the recycle bin. I do keep a couple of magazines, but only if there is something I'm pretty sure I want to order but not right at that time. So, today's assignment is finished!! :)
