How do you start a hobby?

I nearly 60 years old and have no hobbies. I've tried everything from knitting to gardening and can't find anything to keep my attention. I just wonder if there is something out there I don't know about but might like.

Isn't there anything that you are interested in?  Personally I hate gardening.  I like reading, doing crosswords, playing the piano, dancing (ballroom & swing) and doing needlework--some periods of time I'll go for doing some things more than others.  do you like crafts?  A lot of craft stores like Michaels' have short classes.  Or how about your local college--some of them have non-credit classes (and so do high schools at night) that anyone can take.  Just keep trying new things to see what sticks.
