How R U doing with XMas shopping /XMAS cards?

I did start shopping and of course started with the baby presents (the most fun for sure).

Today I bought quite a few things for the 3 XMAS stockings (ds, dil, Mikey) and that was fun of course.

Bought myself a present too while I was at it,,, bright dark purple nail polish by YSL my favorite brand so I splurged.  (Yes, I'm worth it... LOL)

As for the other regular presents , well I'm not getting very far with those. I bought  a nice pretty wool scarf for dil and a gift box of Boss cologne/soap, deo, shampoo for ds and a new coat for Coffee (again in bright purple) and that's it.  I have no clue what to buy them.  They need nothing for the house so makes it a bit harder this year.  Dh and I don't give each other presents but last year he surprised me with a big box filled with Burlington argyle socks for winter,,, loved it: I LOVE argyle socks).  He went and picked them out all by himself and wrapped them by himself too. LOL   This year I'll have to show him where the Tiffany store is so he knows how to get there all by himself, and they do the wrapping for free  ...  LOL

Yesterday morning I sat down and started wrapping all the baby stuff....

So what about you? Have you started?  Any great ideas this year?  Have you wrapped any yet?  XMAS  cards written and sent?  Gee, are we organized or what?

I'm done with the buying. I finished (I swear I finished) today. I got Riley a toy she loved that Colleen was giving to a friend's baby for his birthday. Riley saw it and just loved it, lol. And I got her some soft pants to go with the shirt to a dress I got her, so it'll make two outfits, lol. I still have to wrap everything. I haven't even started my cards. I don't know why. Usually I'm done, or almost done, but this year I'm dragging my feet about doing them.

Ann:   sounds great to be finished with XMAS buying,, that includes C&B?  I just ordered 2 books with Audio CD's of lullabies (in English language) today , those should arrive next week with 2 books I ordered as dh's XMAS present.  I need to find traditional  German lullaby audio CD (in German language, which is actually more important than the English ones .)      XMAS is really draining... isn't it?

WOW...you are organized! The only gift I have bought is a nice  stanley thermos that will part of my family Christmas/Yankee swap gift. Got to get coffee & cocoa to go with it. Have to wait a couple weeks til next payday to shop- gotta pay bills first

I will be getting Wayne a Tshirt he likes from Life is Good store. and gift card from JCPenney- so he can buy shirt & tie for work. He'll know what he needs for work. of course Amazon gift card. Maybe a new astronomer book- something to do with his stargazing !! The boys will be easy- a box of goodies !! then I have the 3 littlest ones-nieces & nephews- they will get books as requested by the moms!

Cards? hmmm...I think I have some in the box downstairs. I guess I should get them out! I'll send them out by the 10th.

Hmmm..sometimes the whole posting window opens with the B, I, U..Font..Size..etc. available. Mostly, though, it is only a generic posting box like Quick Reply. So annoying!! Just when you hope more IV gliches are being worked out, another one begins. ::sigh:: Anyway...It's not allowing paragraphs or spaces either, so this will probably get tagged on after my ::sigh:: ... I stopped sending Cmas cards about 30 years ago. A few times I got a wild hair and did send some out, but it's not going to happen this year. My DD2 gave me her Christmas list for herself, her dh and their two kids (my two oldest grands). Haven't gotten DD1's list yet. I'll get working on shopping for them next week as I don't like to shop on weekends when it's so busy in the stores. Then I'll have my favorite sis-in-law to shop for. She's a fun one as we both like the same things like jewelry, scarves, candles, home accessories like pretty serving dishes & bowls, wine glasses and things like that. My sister gets Harry & David and brother gets Popcorn Factory sent to them. DH's grandkids all get money and we stopped giving to the adults last year. There will be one or two ornament exchanges with friends and I think that's it. Not sure if dh and I will do gifts for each other or not, probably will a little, not sure yet.

Ann...Lucky you being finished with your shopping already!! I miss shopping for my grandloves when they were little. Now at ages almost 10, 11, 12 and 15, it's a challenge!! I understand dragging your feet on the cards. I gave up doing them many years ago!
